Am I an idiot if I don't understand surveys? Even with a sample size of 1000 or 2000, I don't see how you can use that to represent an entire country's population.

I'm scared robots
i've always been alone since my parents death. Makign friends has been so the most difficult thing I have ever faced since.
I tried various trick to break social isolation, taking drama lessons, enlist in sport clubs, randomly talk to strangers and employee in shops.
In few hours I will fly to a far far away 3rd world country. It was a shitty decision, make in the spur of the moment, with the bold assumption everything will be alright.
But it won't, it isn't. I'm already regretting my decision and I have two weeks to spend in this shithole. I wish I could stay in my room during the whole trip, but it's like that. I will have work to do, I will have to talk to local people to complete assignements.
There is no way this is going to make me happy. I don't want a constellation of acquiantances on facebook. I just want a neet gf to enjoy the little somethings in life. I don't want hardship. I don't want to be a chad, it's scary...
But IF this break my social isolation, I will post results in two weeks, either way I will post feedback.
