I used to think nofap was just a reddit meme, but I generally feel lethargic and depressed when I jerk of to porn. I get something called brain-fog, many others report the same thing. I'm not nearly as articulate as when I don't fap. When I fap i feel like a retard that can barely get a sentence out. When i don't fap I almost have no trouble talking to people. Fapping also drains me of energy to the point where I can't go to the gym and if i do, my lifts are weaker and i have less endurance.
Porn also causes your brain to give you a massive dopamine rush, it's your pleasure/reward chemical. So because your brain is releasing so much of this pleasure chemical, it dulls other aspects of your life and kills motivation in contrast. When I don't fap being productive and getting shit done actually feels amazing.
