Chill, they are just teasing you because you weren't there. Stuff like that happens when they run out of things to talk about/do. They think of one thing that they all have in common, which was being friends with you, and thus they send you the snap. They really wouldn't do that if they didn't want you to come.

I live in OC with my parents right now, but I did live in Riverside for awhile.
Yep, really seems like there are these two extremes with nothing in the middle here in SoCal.
Moving back to OC was a huge shock. The conspicuous consumption is driving me nuts. I drive a 16 year old car that's reaching the end of its life (222,000 miles) and it seems like all my other shit is falling apart. I have a near min wage part time job (despite my worthless BA) and it feels like Im slowly drowning even though I live with my parents and have been able to save several thousand dollars. It's just not enough to get ahead or make any real changes. You feel like total shit when you have nothing but new cars, Teslas, Mercedes, and BMWs drive by you on your daily commute to work. It feels even worse when you see young professionals driving them too.
I'm feel like the weird older guy at work. I'm 28 and all my coworkers are 17-22. Seems like all the girls I talk to have bfs. Over half the guys seem to have gfs. I don't dig this info out of people - they always find some way to toss it into a conversation. I guess it is a topic normies enjoy discussing or something.
I was sort of happy having a job after being a NEET for a long time, but now it is just a daily reminder of my lack of professional and romantic success. They say life isn't a race but stagnation stinks.
The lack of social success on top of my being a financial failure has left me feeling pretty wretched.
Im going back to community college, but I dont have any sort of plan and the environment will be similar to the one at work.

He only gave me $500 for Christmas and that's it, and that's after a very long time of not going out on dates or getting any surprise gifts. He only gave me $300 for my birthday. That amount is only getting lower from now on. I'm sick of him being so cheap and stingy.
