Why do people use virus protection?
It just slows down your computer's performance. If you don't want viruses, just don't go on sketchy websites or download random things. If I want to look at porn, I just go on 4chan's nsfw boards. I gotten by just fine with just adblock . I had noscript, but I got annoyed by constantly having to allow javascript on certain websites I frequent.
My computer has never been compromised despite having no virus protection.

Just because your computer doesn't act weird doesn't mean it isn't filled to the brim with keyloggers and shit. At minimum do a mbam scan every week and be sure to configure your firewall and that it is working properly.

Since last night I've gotten some sort of itch or rash on my limbs, including my arms, legs, hands and feet. pic related
