I decided that after the MC server last week failed I would put together a new one. I custom sculpted an entire continent based on some feedback from people. I've included Bukkit and Lockette so your shit won't get stole yo.

Known Issues: Underwater Structures spawn weird and intersect the landscape. This is is because I lowered the water level from 62 to 48 in order to increase the amount of land on the map.
Water spawns at weird heights and creates columns of water.

Everyone who was playing last night will have lost all their items because we migrated to 1.7.9. I apologize for this issue, but in the long run this gives us a more robust level of mod support.
Shaggy in the robotsplayminecraft group had discussed the possibility of making the game support MMO Minecraft. Is this something users would be interested in? Let me know! I'll be in the Steam group all night.
The server is based in Seattle, but let me know if you guys have connection issues. I'm not very familiar with Admin, but I'll try and troubleshoot your issues!

Last year I found this board when I was going through a breakup and got very depressed. It was nice to see people that could relate to the same shit I felt.
But as time wore on, I got worse.
Early this year I took a break and started to feel better. I even got my first date in a long time. The first date turned into 3 dates. 3 dates that I thought went well, but as it turns out; I got fooled again.
The girl never went out with me again, whats worst is I don't even know where or what went wrong.
So I found myself depressed again and back in this community.
And I just realized today, this place is sucking the life from me. I will seriously kill myself if I don't quit coming here. It sucks your will to live every day.
And I may leave here and never get a gf, but I gotta leave. someone posted earlier that /r9k/ was a board you shouldn't visit more than 4 times a year. I don't know if I quiet believe that, but you certainly shouldn't stay on here the amount I have.

I went to McDonald's today and got a Filet-O-Fish combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. I was eating it in my vehicle in the parking lot and listening to an audiobook when I glanced up and saw the McDonald's worker I ordered outside having a cigarette.
She waved at me and I nodded and had to wait 7 minutes before she went back inside and I could eat in comfort again. I don't think that employees should be bothering or even trying to socialize with customers outside of the McDonald's restaurant or drive through, but that is another story.
I went to McDonald's for dinner tonight and got a McChicken combo with a bacon cheeseburger on the side. As I was driving to the second window the same girl was still working. She was acting somewhat obsequious and attempting small talk when she asked, 'why don't you come eat inside instead of in the parking lot where it is cold'.
That really bothered me for many reasons. First of all, I don't want my routine or actions to be tracked by a fast food employee. Secondly, she should not try to tell me how I should live my life. I do not want to eat inside because I find it less comfortable and would much rather be inside my vehicle listening to an audiobook and enjoying myself and my privacy.
Overall, I think it was very unprofessional to bring this up. I should have a clean slate with each drive through visit, not have to get the third degree because I committed some sort of faux pas. Which I don't think I did, because I often see people eating in fast food parking lots. How does she know I am not busy going to work or somewhere in a rush. Maybe I have a short lunch break?
How do you feel about eating in your vehicle in the parking lot of a fast food restaurant versus eating inside the restaurant?
