I've learned to mask myself naturally. I feel like I've gotten good at using witty remarks and sarcasm to the point where it is second-nature. I'm not truly "being myself" because the real me wants to kill my entire family followed by myself, but at least I've got a facade that does not take effort to maintain. I can't socialize with most people but maybe 1/40 people I meet I'll be able to form a true friendship with.
Practice makes perfect, I guess. I still want to fucking die though. Friends don't make it better.
