So today I went to the doctor from some knee pain and he said that I have patellofemoral pain syndrome, is there any way that I can cure this or help treat it? I really don't wanna never be able to squat and deadlift again.
I have patellofemoral pain because my kneecap isnt sitting in the right place which can be fixed by surgery that I plan on getting. In the meantime Ive been unable to squat or diddly but have been able to get ok leg workouts with the leg press at low weight and low ROM. it sucks but its better than nothing

is cutting while doing SS a good idea?
I've read that you can build muscle and lose fat if you're only a beginner, which I am.
I'm 5'10'', 145 lbs, most of my fat is centered around my thighs, waist, and ass. Thought about cutting at 2100kcal with a low carb diet.

Depends if you're okay with doing high rep (8-12) hypertrophy work with babby weights.
General consensus is to go SS for 6mo - 1 yr (along with accessories if you want) and get down the basics + gain strength.
Nothing wrong with starting on a split though.
You can cut while doing strength work and make noob gains yes. But you'll hit a plateu eventually and have to eat above TDEE to keep progressing....

Can someone please advise me on using the classical kung fu horse stance for extended periods of time to strengthen your legs? Also would it be considered isometrics?
How long should I be in the gym lifting? When I used actual weights w/ my friend my lifts would be go for around a hour. Now I can only use machines and lift on my own so it takes maybe 20 minutes. I'm doing the same lifts just on machines, will this negatively affect me?
if it's only taking you 20 minutes to do machine lifting, you may either not be taking long enough rest periods in between sets. It's also possible that you're lifting too light.
Usually people who ask this question don't have a routine set up for themselves. Go to the gym with a plan and start training smart for actual gains.
So, it varies. It's as long as your routine takes. Usually when I go my lifting sessions take around an hour or a bit more.
