hey, this is my first time on /fit/, normally just /lit/ and /lgbt/ for me- don't know shit about keeping healthy and shit
anyway so I am a female, 5'6'', and I went down from 150lbs (I know) to 110lbs in nine months or so. I did this mostly from diet alone, crash dieting by eating c. 600 kcals a day.
I started jogging a bit but really I haven't exercised at all in my life.
So I'm thin now, but toneless and tfw that bart simpson physique, skinny with chubby belly.
I want to get toned but I'm so weak I literally can't even...

I'm sure everyone here has read this sentence at least once, and for sure asked this ourselves when we were beginning.
One of the main reasons novice lifters get stuck on plateaus and can't progress, even though their numbers are low, is not resting enough between sets (besides trying to add too much weight to the bar and not eating enough, of course, but that's an issue for another thread).
If you are TRAINING, and not just going to the gym "to look good, I don't care about strength" (like the average commercial gym goer), you NEED...

Anyone here work in any sort of manual labor field? How much do you eat every day? Do you have any other tips on keeping your gainz and progressing in the gym while doing physical work 8+ hours a day? Skilled and unskilled workers welcome to answer
working for 10 years as a construction worker, lifting/carrying heavy shit 8 hours a day.
I'm 6'3" and weight around 220lb. I eat around 3000-3500kcal a day.
just follow your program. if you lifted too heavy at work that day reduce your weight in the gym if you feel like it. listen to your body and you will make gainz.

I did semi physical work as a delivery driver/ warehouse worker, moving boxes around that weren't too heavy. Got a job a couple months ago at a property maintenance company, it's alot more physically demanding.
