I read you can fuck yourself up (heart-wise mainly) if you start working out hard right away.
Also the few times I did try to run and do push-ups regularly I couldn't keep it up for more than a week because I felt I was getting no results.
I'm really not looking for hardcore building or breaking any records, just want to mainly gain more muscle mass (instead of fat) for better looks, and longer term improve the strength too.

Whatever makes you healthy on the inside and lean on the outside.
You can get lean on the outside without being healthy on the inside (IIFYM hitting protein/carbs/fats with dog shit tier quality food)
Or you can hit your macros with food that gives you your macros and also benefits your health.
That IMHO is the best definition of clean eating.

Eat a scoop of whey everytime you feel like snacking and realize food that is purely just carbs+fats with very little protein does absolutely fuck all for your goals in trying to lose bodyfat.

I know that sounds excessive, but i've actually been doing this lately and I've been getting stronger and noticeably leaner at the same time, which is fucking shocking because im about to hit my 4th year lifting and Ive stopped tracking calories/macros.

So I'm a skelly. I weigh 120lbs at 20 years old. I'm a 5'10 dude.
This needs to cease now as my quality of life is being affected tremendously.
I just started my day by eating a fucklot.
I ate 1kg of quark cheese with 400g of cherry fruitmix.
The kg of quark is 700kcal, and the 400g of fruitmix is 400kcal.
That gives us 1100kcal and 69g of protein.
I then ate 260g of chicken breast. That's roughly 400kcal and 40g of protein.
I'm about to eat a pack of 150g of rice with 260g of ground beef.

1) pasta, minced meat, peanut butter, greek yoghurt, avocados, whole milk, cheese, bananas (as snack). All pretty high calories, all available cheap.
2) If you lift heavy, rest enough, and eat more, your lifts should go up.

the only thing that will result in permanent changes is systematically improving your posture, ie being conscious of it all the time and correcting any bad habits
but exercises can help,especially anything that loosens the muscles in the back of the neck.. sit/stand as straight as you can and tuck your tin towards your chest. repeat as many times as you like and do it throughout the day
