Have serotonin receptor damage from heavy concussions in sports I played while I was younger. Caused me major depression. That linked with my family history of diabetes means my Magnesium and Zinc levels were abysmal.

I've been thinking about it for a week now and I can't realy decide.

I'll make it quick. I love boxing and I love lifting.
On one hand, there's this boxing gym near my house (like 4 minutes by walk) with a good trainer and some shitty lifting equipment. (At least there are lifting equipments)

On the other hand. Well, a pretty nice gym but that's 30 minutes from home with public transport. Good thing is that I go there whenever I want while boxing, there's a specific schedule.

I'm a student and I can't do both at the same time.

Deep down I know boxing is the best choice since you learn how to fight but Iv'e been lifting for so long that it's a hard decision to make.

If you want to be that strongest, then lift wrights. Boxing will make you stronger, but you won't be the strongest that you can possibly be.

However, you could look decent with a shirt off if you did boxing and did some weights on the side as you mentioned they have equipment.

but technically you can do everything with dumbbell you can do with barbell, except squats and cleans

pretty hard to get heavy enough dumbbells to deadlift though, desu

and even then, you can do goblet squats and dumbbell pistol squats and shit...

not great, but better than nothing, especially if you combine it with plyo work (box jumps and squat hops and such)

Holy Jesus fucking Christ /fit/, so just now I decided that my 5'8" 270Lbs fat ass self start to actually try to lose some weight. I just finished jogging for 20 minutes and I feel like I'm gonna slowly die at any moment, Jesus /fit/ how the fuck can you guys do that everyday!? it gets easier with practice, like all things. Then you increase your speed or mileage.
