What do you do when you see a halfrepper?

I always thought Crossfit was just some fad bullshit where people do kipping pull ups and back snapping activities but I watched a documentary called ''Fittest On Earth'' under the illusion it would be about just really fit people and discovered it was about the Crossfit games.

Who do you respect more, the jack of all trades or the master of one? That's why crossfit gets ragged on. Add to that the fact that most Crossfit trainers have no credentials, the high rate of injury, and the fact that (in terms of weight or time) crossfitters set no records (1RM max, 100m sprint etc). Then there's the general elitist attitude that crossfitters take....makes it hard not to talk shit. Btw if you think any of those people are natty you're fucking delusional

My dad is 60 & fit. Does pushups planks bodyweight exercises etc to keep in shape. However he has ED and low test and also had heart coniditions. His heart is better now but he went through endoscopy for clogged arteries.
I want to put him on test-e 250mg/week and make him lift so he can regain his strength and possibly have a better functioning penor (no homo but love dad cant see him like this) pls advice /fit/ scholars

Hey /fit/ newbie here looking for enlightment on PT's. Is it really a fitness meme?
Is it worth it? I'm a newbie with a lot of motivation but little to no knowledge.. i feel very intimidated and i shy away from the weights because everyone there is an asparing Schwazneggar and I'm skeleton mode.
I feel i don't progress a lot and a PT might put me on the right track.
Also i have read a LOT of fitness 'conspiracy theories' on PT's about how they take you on the longest possible progress plan so they can milk your money for...

Can i do a full body routine every single day?
Some say you should not do heavy compound lifts two days in a row,
but i feel like i could do A and B workouts 3 times a week each with 1 rest day a week.

I want to deadlift in long pants, my shins are all bruised up. I tried the ones from Nike (pic related) but they got destroyed by the knurling on the bar during the first set.
