Yes these things can fuck up gains.
I've been asthmatic for 28 years.
When I was on the harder asthma medication it gave me side effects such as fat storage moving to face and gut. Cortisolsteroids do that for some reason. Since coming off them the fat in my face and excessive storage of fat around my gut all dissipated, without any fatloss. Fucking crazy how the drugs effect fat storage placement like that,

I'm prescribed seroquel XR for hallucinations (not schizophrenia in nature) and I've learned that most psych meds make it very difficult to lose fat. unfortunately, mine also makes me feel unsatisfied unless i consume around 1000 calories per meal ;-;

After 3 sets of 5x pullups my arms feel numb and I can barely manage to lift a 1l water bottle.
I suppose this is a bad sign? I had an injury just recently that felt similarly. I already warm up and try to do them as slowly and controlled as possible.

Guys I started doing SS after being a fat slob for 3 straight years (gained 25kg) I have some newbish questions. Does sex/masturbating affect my gains? Should I use gloves for my exercises if my palms dont get sweaty (seen a lot of dudebros using them). Am I gonna make it if I weight 95kg and cant even do more than lifting the bar?

Also, is it better to complete all your reps/sets or fail on the last set?
Im assuming the most optimal is using weight where you can barely finish, right?

Snatching today, felt a nice deep crunchy crackly pop in my neck on the catch. Some pain, not too severe. Was able to complete the lift. Dull pain with some flaring when I rotate my head or lower it. Worried it's a slipped disc, hoping it's just a 'tweak'. Either way, should probably take some time off. What to do to maintain strength and explosiveness while rehabbing and recovering? Also, how to prevent in the future?
Someone broke into my truck and stole my Adipowers.
They're the only weightlifting shoes I ever had and I loved them. Since I'm now forced to get a new pair, has anyone used both Adipowers and Romaleos? What I've read online is making me lean towards just getting Adipowers again.

Yes. Wife is /fit/ and she attends cardio bunny class while I lift.
My gf was against it at first, but completely changed by the time I'd hit the 1000 pound club. She got way more submissive, massages out my muscles after a workout and cooks me meals with nutrition readouts whenever I cut. She had my 1RMs memorised for a while before I bulked.
She's a fucking saint.
Gf is supportive as fuck. She's a bikini/fitness competitor and gets after me about my diet which is great. She's gunna be bulking with me for the next year to prep for a fitness competiton.
She told me this morning that if I wanted to cycle she'd totally do the pins for me. Not sure if she's hinting that I should roid or that she'd be supportive if I wanted to.
Do what I did /fit/. Find yourself a girl with a great personality and convince her to get fit with you. She dropped 35 lbs and cut to baby abs while I gained 35 lbs and dropped...
