Yo, /fit/, I have been lifting for 1.5 years, and I have a confession. What gets me motivated? What is the voice that says "one more?" It may be cringy, but its motherfuckin ROCK LEE. I make reoccuring breads on tee vee all the time and wait for people to reply. Even if it's only one reply before the bread 404s I am a happy person. Sometimes people start discussions in it and the bread fills with replies. That makes me a very happy Anon.
That being said, I smoke when shitfaced. For some reason I crave cigarettes but only if other people smoke too.
Cut down, limit yourself to half of that for a few days then half again after that. Cold turkey is near impossible unless your'e broke or strapped down at your level.

You shouldn't base your life around lifting, lifting is simply a pass time. If you have a choice between hanging with your mates or going for a workout you should always hang with your mates etc. It doesn't matter if you miss a workout or miss 2 workouts etc. Unless you are a proper fatty lifting is just a hobby. Don't waste your life lifting thinking it will give you a better life as its odds on that it won't
