This board used to be Health and Fitness so posting this here

Recently I've had a massive outbreak of eczema all over my bod, been to the doctors and have tried several different creams/ointments/allergy pills, which haven't done much at all

Have heard water fasting is a great way to sort out your immune system, so I'm aiming for a 2/3 day fast

Does anyone have any experience doing this? Does it work? Do you know of any other treatments for eczema I could try?

What can I do about a slow metabolism?

Yes. And it's really not uncommon. Most people can already touch backboard untrained. Getting your legs strong enough to dunk is only a few months worth of training.

I've been lifting for some time now, but an instructor commented on my posture being incorrect. So I tried to change my posture, but I can't fix it just by standing straight. I basically got "Forward Head" in pic related. If I try to correct it, I kind of get Lordosis, I can't get my back and neck completely straight.

So far I've just lifting, but my form isn't perfect and I think it's due to my posture.

Is there any exercise or something to at least reduce the bad posture?

Posture is muscular, skeletal and neurological. You've got to retrain your muscles to hold the new position and potentially reform your spine depending on how long you've had poor posture as your discs tend to turn into wedges after long term excess kyphosis/lordosis. Planks, bridges, side planks, that sort of thing should help. Basically anything that is going to force you to work on having to maintain proper posture under tension should help you correct things.

An issue I've had is when I'm in school and wind up studying/programming 8+ hours a day; my neck always goes to that forward position with a slight down tilt. I stacked some stuff under my monitor to raise it to seated eye level and started to force my shoulder blades together while sitting and that's corrected most of it so far. So if you sit at a pc for any length of time I'd suggest modifying your desk to be more ergonomic.

Hi /fit/, I've had pic related for about a year now.

I recently started SL 5x5 and as I lift heavier I find that my current shoes are making me shift more weight to the side of my foot and curl my toes.

I know this is fucking with my gains. Should I buy Olympic Weightlifting Shoes? Or is there a cheaper option? What shoes do you wear?

Worth it or a meme? Tastes pretty terrible, but I'm cutting, and people say it can help aid weightloss along with other benefits like improving hair and clearing up skin.

I didn't see it on http://www.informationisbeautiful.net/visualizations/snake-oil-supplements/ , hence asking here. Tons of websites shill it hard, but that goes for about any supplement, and that shit tastes pretty terrible, so I'm not too convinced it's worth it.

Also, post ways to make it more tolerable, how you drink it, etc.

Jump ropes are a meme. Just flick your wrists and jump up and down in place for reps or time. I do this all the time at the gym and I'm pretty sure I get the same results as someone doing a meme-rope.
