How do I increase my lung capacity? Which cardio exercises are the best for being able to go for a long time without getting winded?
I tried playing basketball with my friends and even though I lift I was winded after 15 minutes of running up and down the court.

Sup /fit/. 440 pound piece of shit here. Ive been a lazy fuck my entire life and the last visit to the doc finally shocked me into not being a lard ass. besides the fact im 440 fucking pounds, i now have an abdominal hernia. WOO! So diet wise i have my list. i lurked and read the sticky. HOWEVER what excersizes can i do? im assuming at this point its eat clean and hit the treadmill. Weights seem to be a no go with the hernia but google didnt help me much

On the topic of diet, you don't even have to eat clean. Just pay attention to what you eat. Always read nutritional labels. People only get obese when they eat mindlessly. Just by thinking about every single thing you put in your mouth, and discovering that, OMG, your daily bottled Frappucino is 400 extra calories, maybe you should grab a diet coke instead, you'll be amazed the difference it can make

So I asked this in the QTDDTOT thread but didn't get any answers...
So i've been gradually adding weight to squat and deadlift, I'm at 265 for squat, and 305 for deadlift doing 3 sets of 5, which I know isn't a huge amount. How much weight does one need to start doing/How long does one need to do squat and deadlift to notice any core gains? I'm trying to get that thicker strongman core minus some of the fat and I've heard that Squat and Deadlift do this. I also do a good amount of ab work outside of deadlift and squat.

Everybody knows this. Low intensity high reps is better for hypertrophy, heavy weights with low reps is better for strength.
