I'm in my low 380s, and was in my high 380s/low 390s two or three weeks ago. I'm being vague because I don't know exactly how much I weighed before I tried to start losing weight. I just know I last weighed myself as being about 388 and that was before the holidays. Now I've been sporadically tracking my weight, and I'm gonna start doing it every sunday.

Is it possible to lose 4-5 pounds a week? I'd like to get down to 170 in one year ideally, maybe 15 months. Preferably without a ton of loose skin. How can I do this in the winter without access to a gym, since it will be constantly snowing. I started taking optimen. What about those fish oil supplements?

I've been overweight most of my life, and morbidly obese for 10 years, when I'm in my early 20s because of my mom giving me shitty eating habits since I was a little kid. Like giving me supersized food at mcdonalds when I wasn't even 10, when I really came to mcdonalds for the playground. I've lost weight a couple of times but never got below 300 lbs for one reason or another. Now I need to lose this weight before I squander more of my youth as being an obese kissless virgin or risk eventually losing motivation if it takes 2+ years.

you can do it, yes, but its going to take a massive effort. its not too late but if you do this now, you have time to reverse the damage. what is your current diet? I wouldn't worry about the gym yet, eating better and some simple bodyweight work should be enough to get you below 250.

you need to treat it as a lifestyle change, this is it for the rest of your life. if you fall into old habits you will bounce back to 300-400lbs in no time at all.

Ultimately you need to detox, get off the booze and the cigs, and on a 6 day/week lifting+cardio regimen, but we all know you don't have the willpower and discipline to keep at it for even a month.

No you don't. It's all in your head. You don't just wake up with PN. It gradually develops. You'd have to expose yourself to DNP for months at a time to develop PN. This doesn't just happen from one cycle alone.

How the fuck did people train in antiquity? I've seen documentaries and read the sources and those guys were fucking strong, almost hilariously so. Hoplites, Roman soldiers, knights were on a level that boggled the mind of their enemies pretty much and since we actually have some records of the old times, we can say they were pretty top tier.

However, we don't have any routines. I know people trained until they started to sweat or breath heavy, then they stopped (anything more was seen as unhealthy). They ate huge loads of meat/fish and bread, much fruit and almost no vegetables. They also drank a lot of alcohol (several liters a day).

I'm not talking about peasants, but about the warrior/soldier classes, mind you. Sadly, the only real exercise book from back then I know about (De Arte Gymnastica) is written in kitchen Latin and I'm not good enough to trandlate it (a Vivian Nutton transalted it but I can't find the translation anywhere).

Any idea where to look stuff like this up?

Started last week.
16mg E and 200mg C as soon as I wake up, at the gym within 20 minutes of that.

I've never drank coffee or had caffeine before in my life. Just have never enjoyed it. I was way more awake and more focused immediately and seemed to be able to focus more at work afterwards too.
But around 9-10am I get super jittery.
But it seems to be working. I don't get hunger pains like I did before. I eat because I know it's time to eat, not because I'm starving.

This kinda happened to me. I upped the calories and I got more fats. I think it's fats not just calories.

I don't know if this works for everyone but I do cardio and it keeps me feeling good for some until I eat.

Why is oatmeal so heavily associated with bodybuilding?

It's healthy, but it's not like it's insanely healthy. Compared to other breakfast foods, like Icelandic yogurt or Cottage cheese, it seems lacking. Compared to other grains, like quinoa and couscous, it seems lacking.

Can anyone tell me why it's such a meme food? None of my research has found it to have any special properties that make it stand out.
