Hey /fit/, how can food help me with getting stronger? I currently train twice a week, on tuesday and thursday. I want to build up strength faster, without steriods and stuff, so with eggs and eating more meat I guess? But I don't know what's most effective, and when to eat it (the morning before/after, or in the evening, etc.)? Also maybe some exercises I can easily do at home, like most effective for building strength and not necessarily losing weight?

If it looks unhealthy or like shit, dont eat it.
Eat meat, fish, veggies, grains, beans, dairy shit like eggs and milk, and fruit. If you restrict your diet to that, and eat plenty of it, you'll be fine.

I wanna start running but I'm a poorfag. I have like seven dollars right now. Can I run in my regular sneakers from Walmart or will I fuck up my feet? Do I really have to buy fancy running shoes?

You'll fuck your feet up if you have anything less than 50 dollars with bad form.
Learn how to barefoot run and you can literally run in any shoe. It's not as mechanically efficient for distance running though be warned.
Ideally you'll want to upgrade eventually, but there isn't a whole lot of harm in running in regular sneakers (providing you're doing short runs and not marathon training or whatever). I run in four year old Nike's that have no business on anyone's feet, but then I'm a poorfag too so you do what you can.
Also, can this be a /running/ general? My left foot pronates, and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to fix it, or if it's just something I have to learn to put up with.

They calculate the calories from the distance and time with an intern fixed value. Some models have handles to measure your heartbeat and are therefore more accurate.
You probably used a US model which was configured for US persons (fatasses) that's why the measurement is so high

They are just best guesses for people your height and weight. They are completely based on empirical models and are usually not exactly good estimations, as they don't have enough information. If you had pulse and whatnot, you'd have better models.

By far most of the energy you produce goes into lifting your body up and down, so that's not a good measure.

I think it's a great diet for one reason; it focuses on unprocessed meat, fruits and vegetables. You will get leaner if you stick to it

Obviously, if you eat nothing but sugary, processed foods that's bad for your health but is eating moderate amounts within a diet that's mostly healthy really that bad?
I'm talking about a spoonful of sugar in tea, some bbq sauce on chicken, some jam on toast, or a bowl ice cream after dinner. I'm not talking about guzzling liters of soda or stuffing my face full of candy non stop.

If you're active it's not too bad unless you eat soda and candy all the time like a dumb ass.
In general people who are active can get away with more simple carbs than sedentary people.
