I did lift weights, didn't gain much tho cause muh -1000 kcal deficit, and you can't see my gains cause i'm still considerably fat, but i swear they are there.

No he's not you dipshit. He's genetically modified to be a super human. He can lift 3x as much as an average person with ease and can run at a steady state of 15 miles per hour, oh and he's 6'10 and a lean 280 without the armor. He's basic what everyone on /fit/ dreams to be
OP basically you need to train every aspec of fitness. That being lifting heavy ass weighs, massive amounts of cardio, and if you really want to be like the chief you're gonna have to trade in you're natty card but even if you don't you just have to train to be a muscular operator mode.

But there's not much argument against saying that isolation exercises will make it a hell of a lot easier to work on muscle proportions that lend themselves to a typically aesthetic physique.
You aren't going to get impressive biceps only doing chin-ups.

Hey /fit/ will I lose weight and start to look some whatvlean if I only do cardio and calisthenics? I'm new at the whole weight loss the proper way. I've been on crash diets but I don't want to lose any muscle this go around.

weight isn't the same, the machine translates it (through a sled etc.) and it's actually less; something to the factor of 1.7x less

the thing with dips is, that I'm literally hanging there, pressing myself up and down and I weigh 95 fucking fatass kilograms.

But when I'm under a bar, I cannot for the life of me bench more than 60kg for five. Even with a fucking powerlifting arch and my ass raised off the bench

I am liberally using the pull-up machine, and the bosu tower or whatever that shit is, to do hanging knee raises and fight my APT.

Having patellar tendonitis, I am suppose to foam roll that bitch to help stuff out. My question is, how much is too much foam rolling? Can I do it in the morning? Or should I only do it after a workout. Or before a workout? Because I work that bitch hard and it gets really painful so idk about before a workout. advice?

You can do a little massage/stim to increase blood flow but that's it. Tendons and ligaments have relatively poor blood supply compared to muscles.

i'm considering switching from stronglifts to starting strength because i fucking hate doing rows. however i also don't want to try doing power cleans. what does /fit/ think of practical programming for strength training?

Monday
3x5 Squat

So I've been taking Vitamin D tablets and holy fuck, I'm a new person.
