Yes, I read the sticky and this is probably a stupid question, but if I get rid of obviously sugary things (soda candy), and things high in carbs (bread soda) and I bench for half and hour and do pullups and situps for the other half every other day, will I lose wight efficiently?

I really love soda, even though it's so bad for me. Soda is just a pleasure thing for me, and I can stop drinking it at any time, but I've gone for like half a year now without any and my life has drastically deteriorated pleasure wise.
Any tips for an alternate? Maybe Arizona? I've been drinking orange juice and adding mio to my water when I need a beverage with flavour, but it's just not doin it anymore.

So I'm pretty new to lifting and have noticed that stretch marks are forming at my bicep such as pic related. Is there something I'm doing wrong or a way to prevent/get rid of them. I don't want to stop working out but stretch marks up my bicep are going to kill my confidence that I'm working towards getting.
