Alright /fit/, skinnyfat here, I have been doing basic cardio and jogging for the past month now, along with some basic dumbbell workouts and squats (all I really have access to are dumbbells at the moment) any advice on how to see better results. My main goal is to have abs and arms that don't make me want to die when I look in the mirror
Shameful self bump

Change your diet, best advice

I am really good at portion control, just really not sure what to eat for best gains
Is 1 day rest enough for a muscle group to recover? I'm not going to cripple myself by doing triceps/chest too many times a week am I?

Right that's it having a thick neck is absolutely ESSENTIAL for male attractiveness. What exercises increase neck thickness?
we all come from somewhere. and remember we're all gonna make it.
I wrap my weightbelt around a 12kg dumbell and do neck raises biting onto the weightbelt

Lie on your back, curl your legs up to your stomach, put your hands on the ground at your sides, lift your head slightly off the ground, and shake or nod your head repeatedly till your neck burns.
that's what we did in bjj to get choke resistant necks
Hope I explained that okay
>This.
>Are you me?

this/are you me never bothered me, but the you one really makes me hot and bothered

Pretty much, normies and red.dit got too deep.
am I the only one who enjoys Overhead Press (inb4 THE PRESS) more than any other exercise? With proper form, it's so incredibly fun. It feels like your entire upper body is working in tandem.
Press + weighted dip > bench.
>>37635640
i hate benching and love ohp. ohp is just really satisfying. also, i can work to failure without worrying about my actual safety.

>fun
How do I become a supreme gentleman?
18 year old kissless/hugless virgin. I just find it unjust that even though girls notice I lift, my autistic personality prevents any form of real contact. Should I just surprise sex them like Chad in the movies? I'm good looking so they'll like that right?
>>37635581
19 year old kissless virgin here.
Kys.
>>37635581
Wake up. It is about being friends with people.
if this wasn't such a blatant troll thread I'd spend some time on how I left khcv mode at age 24 after being homeschooled and WoW addicted for 8 years
but meh, manlets, when will they learn
At the end if the year I want to Lode 16 kg. Is it possible /fit/? Im 116 kg rn.
i went from 225lbs to 180lbs in 3 months so ya. healthily probably not

Lose*
If you're autistic about your diet it should be doable.
What would /fit/ say to a 30 year old male who weighs over 370lbs and struggles to lose weight because he literally cannot eat vegetables?
Like, you know that woman who nearly vomits smelling a brussel sprout? This legitimatelly happens to him for almost ALL vegetables (mostly green).
How can I help him turn his life around and start getting greens into his diet? Even if there's a supplement... or maybe I can get him to drink them as a smoothy?
Anyone have experience with this. I've got him into lifting and he's doing great, but he'll never be truly healthy without greens!
Man the fuck up manchild
>>37635417
Yeah I've tried playing that card on him but it didn't really work :\ any other suggestions?
>>37635417
This. Dudes just a fat cunt who dont wanna help himself. Not gonna make it breh
What's the point of bulking and cutting? Why not leave it at eating protein rich and working out?
I mean it's essentially what is giving you muscle, so bulking seems just like a cheap psychological way to give you the impression that you gained even more size(/muscle) without that actually being true.
>>37635363
you have misunderstood the basics of muscle growth
cuz dem gainz
we do it all for vanity
wait
professional bodybuilders do it
wonder why
maybe
it
works
Because in order to build muscle beyond beginner gains and steroids you require a caloric surplus.
Can we have an honest discussion for one about what is and is not achievable natty? A lot of people on /fit/ have thrown around this ludicrous notion that the king of /fit/ himself is a lifetime natty but I'm just not buying it. This guy is definitely on some very good creatine and whey protons, if you catch my drift.
Please post examples of the actual natty limit and the time frame for how long it takes to reach it. Thank you.
>>37635188
Why should anyone care about someone else's natty limit. I don't understand.
Why don't you just find your natty limit and then you'll honestly know the only limit that will ever matter to you.
Just workout faggot
It aint gonna happen overnight who gives a fuck how long it takes others to get their body.

Alright, I need some advice. Been lifting for close to a year and a half now, and my deadlift has reached 4pl8, my squat is at 265, and my bench is still stuck at 185. Through a bulk and a cut cycle, now on a bulk cycle again, I have not gotten strong enough to surpass 185 for around 3 reps. It's literally been stuck there for around 9 months now, and I kept making excuses for it. Being on a serious cut, my tendonitis in my arm, etc. But now I'm just getting seriously annoyed by it.
Any advice is appreciated, ill even pick up a new routine if it helps me get...

I would also like an answer to this question. My squat and deadlift have been progressing steadily since I actually began applying myself in the gym but my bench press has not kept pace. I think my shoulders are what's holding me back, as they seem fairly weak compared to other back/chest/arm areas when doing isolations. I've been focusing on strengthening them to combat this issue. I would appreciate tips/insight from wiser anons than myself.
I think it's my shoulders because the part of the lift I struggle with most is the raising of the bar when my...

What's your press weight look like? Overall program?
The problem is likely a combination of inefficient technique and not enough volume on the right muscles, but without more info it could be bloody well anything.
>>37635218
That's probably a weak chest and/or poor setup more than weak shoulders.
sometimes some muscles on ur body are just not meant to past a certain threshold
blame your genetics
Anyone got any experience with this?
>>37635145
Yes.
>>37635145
Yes. It sucks

The listed ingredients for this peanut butter are:
>Organic dry roasted peanuts
>Organic palm oil
>Organic cane sugar
>Sea salt
Is it alright to have this stuff? Is it as healthy as non-stir natural peanut butter?

>palm oil
>sugar

nope.
>>37635278
Not op but what's wrong with palm oil?
>>37635131
Much better ingredients than other peanut butters
Can someone tell me it's going to be okay & all that my hard work will pay off, please?

Sure. I was homeless for six years. Two of those years I was in job corps.
I did all of that, only to work at a call center and have been doing so for six months, but I bought myself a weght set, and drop $10 daily at a dollar store for 7,000 calories and about 100 grams of protein so the gains are coming.
If you do not quit, and keep working toward the goal, you will achieve it.
Any Concept 2 owners/rower that did the Summer Solstice 21 K challenge today. I just finished it.
Time? Average Splits?
Had mine for one month, 1hr 27 min, avg split of 2:03

how much is that and is it worth the money?
I am never going to do indoor rowing again
T. Burned out rower
I've done 3x30min (only 30s rest between those for water) with an average of 1:53 or so at r18 as part of weekly training

I paid over $1000 for it, I wouldn't have paid that much for it if its not for the fact they are so well made they hold their value for years. I saw used ones on craiglist for over $850.
And yes, it gives you one hell of a workout, a strength-endurance workout. Great for HIIT workouts too.
