Hello /fit/,
I've been working out for a few months and I'm progressing nicely with my compound lifts.
I do notice I have difficulty with keeping my core braced sometimes during the compound lifts.
And in a few months I'm planning to start a cut as well. I know compounds train the core too, but I was wondering what kind of exercises /fit/ does for the core and if you've noticed results over time.
Currently I am doing a few sets with the ab-roller every week.
So, what do you all do?

Leg raises and back extensions/GHR. They should be in your program by now if you are a few months down the road. What program are you doing?

This. I felt weak in the core as well and 2 weeks after doing leg raises my core started feeling so much stronger
I've read in many articles that planks are the best thing you can do for full core strength. Over time, upgrade to elevated planks then put weights on your back.

mechanics are pretty similar. Honestly front squat + deadlift probably gives the best range of muscles used.

I bought 6 chicken legs, a kilo of rice, some mushrooms, onions, garlic and carrots on sale, deboned and marinated the chicken so i can pan cook it whenever i want, made chicken stock using the bones, used half the stock to make a bomb-ass risotto with mushrooms and garlic and the other half for some chicken and noodles soup. I'm gonna eat atleast 3 days with like 10€ worth of ingredients.

Why do people keep going for 400-600 deadlifts? As if their ass development is going to improve that much more than sticking to under 300-400.
Especially when natty, why even bother??? Natty limit won't even let you continue growing muscle past a certain point anyway. I honestly haven't even noticed any size increase in my glutes or quads from when I squatted 225 to 315 for the same reps, hence why I haven't bother going any higher. There was a noticeable difference in leg size going from 1 to 2 plates, but very little difference in 2 to 3 plates. That's...
