Is it ever acceptable to point out dangerous flaws in a stranger's form?

It was painful watching him and I wanted to let him know what he was doing wrong. I didn't say anything because I didn't know him well, and didn't want to be THAT GUY. Is it better to let people learn the lesson the hard way?

Takes a lot of self control not to say something sometimes though. People have pretty atrocious deadlift and squat form.

How does /fit/ take their coffee? I used to have 2 coffees, 3 sugars and milk, but that's probably preeeeeeeeetty unhealthy, so I'm starting to try and drink black coffee.

Long shot, are there any /fit/izens living in Geneva, Switzerland? I just moved here and I'm looking for a gym. If anyone could recommend a proper place with the basic freeweight equipment that would be great.

Swissbro from Vaud here. I can't recommend a gym and I work out at home, but all you need is very basic and can be found almost anywhere I think.

What's your exact goal?

I'm guessing strength. So all you need is the basic barbell material:

Think of self improvement/lifting as being like treading water in the ocean.

As long as you're doing the bare minimum, you're probably as high up as you can possibly get. If you exert more energy, you'll just tire yourself out and not actually get anywhere from it.

The ONLY time someone actually benefits from lifting is if they lose excess body fat, and as a result they FLOAT UP TO WHERE THEY ALREADY SHOULD HAVE BEEN. However, that's REMOVING A NEGATIVE rather than GAINING A POSITIVE.

The chances are, most of you are already where you should be anywhere. Once you're doing the little amount of work required to stay afloat, any more is just wasted energy.

Yeah, not being able to trust the person you love is fairly easy. But there is a fix to it.
What you need to do is to find a knive, a sharp one, and cut open your gf's chest. Don't give her pain meds or any of that shit, she needs to suffer for making you suffer. (you might want to gag her to silence the screams tho). Then rip open her ribcage and cut out her still beating heart. Then cook the heart and eat it. She'll be a part of you forever and you never have to worry about not trusting her.

just ran 2 miles outside and then jogged at 8mph on the good ol mill for an hour, what do you guys do for daily cardio or cardio day

If it's nice out and I'm not lifting, I'll do 90 minutes to 2 hours of jogging outside, about 5 mph. Good way to burn off about 1100-1300 calories generally. If the weather sucks or I'm lifting, I do the elliptical at the gym. I tried treadmill for a while, but I just hated it. Had nowhere near the stamina on the treadmill that I do outside, so I'll either do an hour of walking incline (level 10 or so) or just do the elliptical.

Lately I've been trying a bit of HIIT on the elliptical after lifting, since my workouts have been getting longer, but it's hard to wrap my head around the fact that even though it doesn't burn as many calories it still has benefits after the workout is done.

Still trying to find a balance between lifting and cardio. I'm 60 pounds down from where I was in september, but I wanna lose 30-40 more. Or at least reduce my body fat significantly.
