How the fuck do people bench DOUBLE their body weight?
I just do not get it, it seems like something I'll never be able to achieve.
I currently weight 86kg (around 13% bf%) and the most I have ever benched was 100kg for 4 reps about two years ago and that was killer.
My OHP is 60kg, squat at 120kg and deadlift at 130kg but Bench is lagging hard at 80kg

Form is a big part of benching. Compared to DB press, bench press is really about getting in the perfect position to put up as much weight as possible. And to me, it's also the lift with the biggest "mental block." If I don't have a spotter my confidence while benching goes to shit.
Basically, look up good bench press form and practice it a lot. Remember that a lot of the lift is mental, and have a good spotter to help you out. Also eat. You'll make it.

They need their 'prime movers' (i.e., legs) to be as well-developed as possible, but in a high-density way, training for maximum strength, not maximum size, and they need strong torso muscles, so all that leg strength isn't wasted making...

Hey /Fit/, so I finished my C4 pre-workout and have taken 2 weeks off of it so I do not gain a dependency to it and was wondering, should I continue taking C4 or is there a better pre-workout to take? I am 165 lbs, age 20 trying to gain muscle mass and size (see photo). I heard that Cellucor has released variations of C4 such as Mass, Neuro, Shredded and 50x. Should I try Mass or Shredded or try something like Jym Pre Jym? Thanks!!!

So apparently if you combine certain plant based protein sources together, you can get a complete amino-acid profile. I am planning to eat canned beans and nuts today. How do I find out how much beans I would need to complete the protein in the nuts? Do I have to eat each of them in equal amounts?

Social media has made the population more narcissistic. Its easy to post a photo with some hashtag and get likes. As for only sticking to lifting and not other sports, it's probably because its easier to go to the gym than to learn a new sport or find people to play with.

I worked out twice today?
Do it if you want, but you're going to have to fuel yourself properly. Worth noting I split each workout for muscle groups to not wreck them. Also 2 large sets of cardio in each workout.
Have eaten a shitload today though.
