You're more or less my height and weigh less than I did when I started, I was 287lb and now after around one month I'm 262lb. There's no secret to it, at your weight most of the "calorie burning" exercises like running or sprinting will damage your joints so you'll have to lose weight by dieting, not with sports. Just measure your bodyfat (with a scale, dexa, calipers, doesn't really matter at this stage if it is +-5%), put your height weight bodyfat and age in a TDEE calculator...

It's okay to smoke weed whenever you want as long as you're okay with how it plays into your life. Some people can't handle it without their lives spiraling out of control, some people can smoke every day and you'd never know.

This this this. I'm gram a day smoker of high quality shit for the past 6-7 years. I fall under zero stoner stereotypes. Extreme stoners know by how i talk but I'm high energy and healthy looking so 99.9% of people are surprised and say that i don't come off as a pot head.
