I use 5/3/1 BBB but I replace the BBB sets with different variations to build up my weaknesses. I.e. Squat BBB with high bar, Bench BBB with floor press, Deadlift BBB with sumo stance, OHP BBB with incline press. I switch it up every week based on results

same, 531 and BBBs are incline or close grip bench, conventional deadlift instead of sumo, and front/zercher squats. i dont do BBB on The Press days because my shoulders are dainty ladies who dont like too much volume, otherwise they snap and put me out of the gym for weeks.

Apart from protein powder and creatine, what supplements are known to work in most cases / are worth your time and money?

I don't think any have much effect.

How do I improve my skin?
I have a rather healthy lifestyle (no smoking, no drinking, good diet, lots of physical activity, enough sleep) and still my skin is very unclean. I have very pale skin and dark circles under my eyes and also many blackheads and easily get pimples.
The weird thing is that every lotion or peeling I've tried only made it worse. When I had one pimple somewhere and used some lotion, the next day I had several.

No they are all roiding like crazy and the best ones don't even do cross fit to train, they do Oly lifting and running/HIIT separately which is a far better idea.

The majority of their off season is spent doing what >>36757768 said. They may run the occasional competition-like routine to get an idea of where they are. They may up the frequency of these when games season is about to start, but they aren't an integral part of training.

I'm not necessarily an ex-spookster yet but I've gained 10 pounds over the last year which is amazing personally. The best advice I could give is eat like you'll never see another meal. It seems easy, but it's more difficult than you'd think. Always make sure to have a snack nearby, and snack about every 2 hours at minimum. Drink as much water as is safe. And if your trying to gain weight stay away from caffene, as it will just boost your metabolism more.
