Ali was an idiot - champions are made in the gym. To become GOAT at anything it takes 5~8 hours in the gym daily. No booze, no women, healthy eating, training through injuries, etc. If that thought even scares you, then no, you cannot be GOAT. But never let your age hold you back - I just started boxing recently and I'm 36. It's breddy awesome senpai.

Call in sick, fix your sleep and never undersleep again. It kills your gains, accelerates most forms of mental illness and more or less literally shortens your life. Get a solid 6-8 hours of sleep a night. Don't take pills.

Hey /fit/ I've broken my femur and was on crutches for about a year due to some complications. I lost a ton of muscle and am now a skinny 5/10 150 pounds. I finished physical therapy and am now looking to start gaining my leg strength back any ideas?
Any lifting experience prior to the injury?

I'm 28 and want to make it by 30. I ran a 4:57 mile in high school and slowly became skinnyfat (5'11" and ~130 lbs with 0 lifting in my entire life) until about a year ago, when I began doing pushups a few times a week. This is bodyweight only and with a pump. I use a pullup bar for arms and back. Going to start planking for core. I am genuinely only lifting for girls right now but I do like randomly noticing my arms being bigger when I'm reaching for stuff.

If you want to continue with bodyweight, then keep adding weight in a backpack or invest in a weighted vest. Also, modify the exercises to increase difficulty. ex. Push ups-> diamond pushups-> one handed pushups or raised leg pushup-> handstand pushup.

I never do more than 2 or 3 reps on my squats and olympic lifts. 5 reps for heavy upper body compounds (weighted dips/pull ups, ohp, rows, bench), 10-12 reps for assistance and isolation, 12-15 reps for abs/lower back exercices
