I work out at my uni gym every morning at 6 am and have gotten pretty friendly with a lot of the other dudes that come in at that time. I'm a relative newbie at the gym and I have a lot of respect for how strong these guys are. Five plate deadlift, 3 plate bench, 225 clean and snatch, etc. A lot of them have great physiques too.
So why the fuck do I see these guys all clinging on to ugly as fuck, chubby girls outside of the gym? I was walking to class one afternoon and I see a guy who can DL over 500 pounds hanging onto some fat chick in a romantic way and I lost...

1 plate = 60kg
2 plate = 100kg
3 plate = 140kg

Including bar, I assume?
It refers to how may plates you have all together, e.g a 2 plate bench would be 1x 20kg plate each side. You don't count the bar, so you would be benching 40kg.
Don't listen to idiots who tell you to count the bar, they never do it in the IPF so why would you do it? They are the same people who probably count the weight if their clips too lmao.
