Does anybody know anything about icing wounds?
I work manual labor for 55 hours a week lift heavy every other day and still do cardio and I block out the pain with caffeine pills which work pretty well surprisingly.
Also block it out with constant movement.
Does icing help?
My deadlift has gone to shit because of work.

My father's dying of high blood pressure / cholesterol at 58 years old. His doctor told him nine years ago he statistically had ten years to live after which he cut all fats out of his diet and went on a 1000+ cal deficit diet he thought up himself. He abandoned the diet after losing 40 pounds and got it all back, and never tried since because it was too miserable and energy consuming.
He's recently been complaining about chest pains and saw a doctor who told him he should be mindful of his blood pressure.
Do you know of any good literature...

Questions That Don't Deserve Their Own Thread -thread
OP goes first, I've been cutting for exactly 4 months today and I've lost 15 pounds without losing any strength or having to take steps back at the gym. I'm still not where I want to be my bf% is about 14-15 so you kinda see the abs are existing but no sixpack. So my question is should I continue cutting even though I've cutted for so long and I'm just 18 so I'm not sure if it's that healthy.
Anyone here do martial arts + lifting? There's a dojo near me that does BJJ and Krav Maga, and I'm thinking of working it into my routine.
I'm new here, but is it possible to just to be "fit", all I want to do is to go from skinny to light otter mode and maintain that (if that makes sense). Anything I can do to achieve this?
