I have scoliosis and dr says I can't lift weight above hips. Does this mean I can't squat but I can diddly? Also I buttwink when I try to squat ass to grass should I just quit squats?

i had about 10-15 degree curve and a couple years of casual back workouts (pullups and chinups) plus good posture brought it down to about 5. isnt there a black dude that had like a s shaped spine that deadlifted 4.5x bodyweight by moving it a couple inches off the ground?

Can we have a legit, scientific discussion about keto diets? There are threads about it a couple times a week but they always get derailed by overzealous fanboys or both sides.

So we know that keto diets reduce your insulin, making you burn fat faster. Does this have any negative effect on building muscle mass? AFAIK many bodybuilders use insulin as part of their steroid cycle to help with building muscle, so its clearly not irrelevant. It seems every bodybuilder is either high carb and super low fat or high fat and super low carb.

So /fit/ do we eat bread?
