Same thing happened to me. I got laid just as often. I didnt get no huge test gains and I wasn't oozing with more confidence. Nothing of the sort.

i use shure se215 and Knowledge Zenith ATE-S.
Shure ones are a lot sturdier because of the kevlar braided cable.
those look like sennheisers, they just have shit build quality, i used to get through a pair every few months.
depends what you mean by indestructible, i just accept that i'm going to tread on them and spill stuff on them sometimes so only buy cheap pairs for that reason
