I came on here a while ago asking for tips on losing weight. i have a board that sits on the arms of my tread mill and i can nerd it up while i walk/run for 60 minutes a day.

anyways im starting to see progress in my face. ita getting thinner. but my progress is too slow and I want to know if theres anything i can do to speed this up.

i am not drinking booze.
my diet is fresh veggies with lemon juice and 1 tblsp of feta cheese. i only drink water. Carb intake is minimal. pasta/breads hockey puck sized daily. and protien is the feta. peperoini sticks and tuna and egg whites.

also im really fucking cranky. any tips will help. thnx again /fit/ i see the light

Hey /fit/

Going on a 2 week cruise around New Zealand tomorrow with the senpai.

Need some advice for not gaining a lot of fat by the end of it, I've read that they have a gym on board but not sure if they have any weights or stations besides treadmills and other cardio machines.

Can anyone with experience pass on some advice on what they do/did to not get fat.

Also advice for meeting new people would be neat thanks.

Gains are being limited by shitty sleep cycle. How to fix?

It's 5am here and I'm still up, yesterday I woke up at 4pm and have been doing this for a while.

Pick 2 days where you don't do anything.
Now stay up all night from day 1 to day 2.
Go to sleep regularly on day 2.

Enjoy best sleep night 2 and a reset sleep cycle thereafter.

I know this because before /fit/ I was a faggot who would pull all nighters playing vidya like a loser and would fuck up my sleep cycle constantly. I used this to fix it.

The key is to force yourself to stay awake and not pass out. If you can't stay awake till 10pm then I guess it's aight to sleep at like 8pm. Not before.

This is all broscience I've discovered through self experimentation. Be careful you don't hurt yourself.

why do fat people who complain about not being able to lose weight not understand thermodynamics? If you burn more calories than you take in, you will, BY DEFINITION, lose mass. Thus becoming skinnier.

Straight up, I've had family and coworkers comment on how I'm losing weight. 5'10-11" at 155lbs.
I straight up haven't worked out routinely in almost a year, as I ended up living to to work.
Maybe once a week, I'll do calisthenics and do DB workouts, maybe a hundred pushups and DB curls and shoulder presses.

I drink err'day, and work out once a week on my days off for the last semester, as I'm either busy sleeping or drinking. 1-6 drink before sleeping before class or work.

sure, but it's just something i threw together quick, so guesstimating the exact measurements

4 eggs
12 oz ground beef
3 oz cheddar cheese
170 grams of onion and bell pepper mix

seasoning:
1-1/2 tsp chili powder
3/4 tsp ground cumin
1/2 salt
1/4 tsp ground cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp hot smoked paprika
1 tbs olive oil

brown ground beef, drain. use half of oil and sautee onion and peppers to desired doneness. mix beef and pepper mixture together and add seasoning plus some cold water, set to simmer on low. in the meantime scramble 4 eggs and add 1/2 tsp salt. heat other half tbs of oil to pan, pour in egg mixture, reduce heat and cover. once slightly brown flip over and sprinkle over 3 oz shredded cheese, pour ground beef mixture over cheese, allow cheese to melt, fold and enjoy.

Is pic related the greatest implements one can utilize on a cut, or should I check myself? It seems to be the only effective aid in appetite suppression. I've read (in one of my biology text books) that caffeine tends to raise blood sugar/insulin but I'm not sure if this is a myth.

hi i just went to the gym am new to it im 18, 5'7 115lb and i did squats i did 45kg and i was fine walking home but i just fell down my stairs??? as soon as i took a step down my legs just gave out and i can get up them easier then down... i can literally not even go down my stairs it takes 10 mins... is this normal? did i do something bad?

It was probably just poor luck, your quads fire off a bit slower after leg training, you'll usually notice having a bit of unsteadyness going down stairs after training legs. I've been training for about 6 years and I still sometimes stumble down the stairs outside my gym after heavy leg day. There's a scientific explanation due to depleted glycogen stores and such as to why your quads and hamstrings brace poorly after squats but the short version is you just had poor luck and probably werent expecting them to give out. Just be more careful from now on
