So I'm on week 5 of a 1000kcal/day cutting diet. thanks to myfitnesspal, I've been reasonably consistent with my diet minus one cheat day. I've only lost on average six pounds since the start of the diet, which is due to the fact that I've gained back seven pounds this past week. I started at 173, shot down to 161 a week ago, and now I'm back to 167. I've heard of weight fluctuations due to water weight, but this seems extreme. What's going on?

your calories are too low, you need to do a slower cut for quality weight loss. All your doing is malnourishing yourself and losing water weight but as soon as you eat a little bit more than 1000 cals you'll get fat looking.
if your that small and don't have too much fat to lose cutting that low is retarted your going to lose a shit ton of muscle. and every gram of carbs holds 2 grams of water remember

There's an article on bodybuilding.com that says that if you're eating sufficient protein, you will convert fat to energy to build the muscle if you're not eating at a caloric surplus.

Muscle building is an endothermic process you need to be on a calorific surplus to build it. Only people bulking shouldn't be done is advanced lifters, very low weight classes sports and guys that are fat.
When I train my chest to failure I do not feel the usual burn that I get in all my other muscles when I train them the same way. I can feel my chest during the exercise but I usually have to end sets not because of unbearable pain but because I just physically can't push the weight up again.
How do I get the same burn in my chest as in all my other muscles?

You generally don't take blood works for ED. Some clinics might test all their patients for drugs though, if that's their policy you can't do much about it.
