No, he's a legend. His videos still motivate me
>>

honestly he makes me sad for being so vain, having such an artificial looking body, looking like he's been in a solarium all day, looking like he wears eyeliner, and then dying because he doesn't understand what real fitness is like. He's the embodiment of superficial non-health -- the opposite of what I admire and seek.
>>
4-5 years ago I saw his physique for the first time and I was staring in awe.Even today after seeing shit ton of roided dudes who are much bigger and leaner with crazy proportions,I still look at Zyzz's body and think "How is it possible to be so aesthetic??"He has the perfect amount of muscle roundness and sharpness and everything and everything falls so well in place

hey /fit/ how can I work on my facial aesthetics? I look like I'm a prepubescent little kid, is there any way to make face gains? Also what's a good hairstyle for me

Hi Fit, Im 90kg (200 lbs) and 178 cm (5 foot 11), Ive been doing SS for 5 weeks and my stats are for 3 x 5 (including weight of bar)

Bench 100kg
squat 120kg
Deadlift 130kg
OHP 60kg

My question is, am i increasing too fast and so for the sake of safety should i slow down?

I want to start SL soon, but i want to do front squats instead of back squats once a week, what do you think?

Hey man.
I have been lifting on and off for 3 years and you've got better stats than I do.

How many of you bros have this curse because of a shitty past lifestyle?
What are the fixes too it? Mine is not extreme, but it's enough to make me look like a duck.
Any routines that have worked for you would be appreciated.

youre not gonna fix 20 years of shitty posture by stretching a few minutes a day and the most effective way to fix it is fixing the cause (slouching and sitting 247), not the problem(stretching). seriously, just start having good posture and get your squat to 405
>>
>>35249643
Do Yoga, tell your teacher, he can help you fix your back.

It takes a lot of time thought.
>>
>>35249765
I'm not sure if I'll have time for yoga. But I think some stretches and a better posture 24/7 would kinda help it.

Rollins has been addicted to lifting for a long time, so I kind of doubt he is juicing.
He's also very anti-drug/alcohol and seems the type to live by that

These studies have been around for a while. Here's what the article refers to (it also confuses Austria with Australia)

http://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0088278
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3466124/

They say vegetarians are more likely to be depressed (which sounds a lot worse when termed "mental disorder," making for good news headlines), but that it may be because depressed people are more likely to adopt healthier lifestyles practices in order to help alleviate their problems. Quotes from the studies:

>Vegetarians in our study suffer significantly more often from anxiety disorder and/or depression
>This might indicate that the vegetarians in our study consume this form of diet as a consequence of their disorders, since a vegetarian diet is often recommended as a method to manage weight [10] and health [46].

>Individuals with a history of a mental disorder may exhibit more perceived health-oriented behavior in order to positively influence the course of their disease. Moreover, the experience of a mental disorder may sensitize individuals to the suffering of other living beings, including animals. In addition, elevated levels of health-related anxiety may lead individuals with mental disorders to choose a vegetarian diet as a form of safety or self-protective behavior, because a meat free diet is perceived as more healthy.
>Importantly, we found no evidence for a causal role of vegetarian diet in the etiology of mental disorders

The media doesn't usually care about the details of what they're reporting on, just whatever will draw attention

You guys ever try light therapy to help with winter blues? Any results / stories?

I'm studying in Northern Sweden currently and have had zero motivation / sex drive the last few weeks, and now there is only ~4 hours of sunlight a day. Currently sitting in front of a light box right now that I purchased today.

Get a heat lamp. Those boxes have the wrong light.
>>
>>35248613
I work in a lab growing plants in strictly regulated climate rooms. I certainly feel refreshed after a few hours in the daylight rooms (posting from dark scandinavia as well).

It's anecdotical as hell, but I feel it helps with the winter blues, and the light from light boxes are of a similar composition as our growth lamps.

I love all that plant light shit.

I've been tempted to get something like a philips hue bulb. There are a few colour changing ones that are cheaper that work on the same software I think. I've made my own led arrays before so I might try linking something up to the same system or something.

I'm finding it hard to eat healthy on the cheap. A typical grocery list for me is:

>chicken hotdogs, $1 pack of 12
80cal, 2g fat, 4g protein per weiner
>dried turkey sticks, $10 pack of 12
60cal, 1g fat, 4g protein per stick
>chicken breast, $8 for three big breasts
One of those breasts gives me two meals. I cut them into cubes and bread and fry them
>frozen mixed vegetables, $3 a bag
Lasts 3 or 4 meals.
>frozen broccoli, $3 a bag
Lasts 3 or 4 meals.
>giant cucumbers, $1 each
As a snack, 1 lasts me a whole day
>boxes of oatmeal, $2 a box of 12 packets
150cal, 2g fat, 4g protein a pack

My caloric intake is around 1200 a day, most of this is protein. I'm finding my diet is costing me $35 or so a week. I'm 5'7 female around 180lbs, TDEE is 2400. I go to the gym daily for cardio and lift three times a week (legs Mon, arms/shoulders Wed, chest/back Fri). I've lost about 3lbs a week since I started but is there anything here that can be improved?

eat more lift more
>>
Typical daily meals is:

>breakfast
Multivitamin, B-complex pill, 2 turkey sticks, 1/4 cucumber
>lunch
2 packs oatmeal, chicken hotdog fried, 1/4 cucumber
>dinner
Half chicken breast fried, chicken hotdog fried, 2 cups boiled veggies
>snacks throughout the day
Rest of cucumber, a banana or two

I'm poor so I'm trying to get what's inexpensive, but at the same time want to keep protein as high as I can.
