Squats are a fucking meme, i stopped doing them months ago, every once in a while i will bust out a 1 rep max squat workout to test my strength, diddys do enough for my legs that my squat is 2.7 pl8 for 5 reps, so they have plenty of size
Starting strength has too much emphasis on leg work to be good after you hit 2 pl8....

You shouldn't phase out or change up the routine unless you legitimately plateau and can't progress. Doing so too early is just wasting time, and it sounds like your quads would be disproportionately underdeveloped compared to your hamstrings.

if your'e doing stiff leg deadlifts, sure, but you'd be surprised at how well it does for both quads and hams.
the only thing you really miss without doing squats is hip flexors but like i said, i test my squat every few weeks to monitor my theory, haven't lost size, and haven't lost strength in them. if anything, the heavier i go with deads, the better my squat gets.
Only machines: anyone doing this?

Better for what? If we are being realistic about health, it's probably best to do some light walking every day and some moderate weight/mobility training twice a week. If we are talking about gains, it's better to go hard every 3 days.

I just want a solid concrete answer. I am not fat, but chubby. If I want to look like the guy in pic related, do I need to drop the cardio? Do I need to do more weight training? Because currently I have been lifting weights and doing a bit of cardio and I'm seeing no results and I'm fucking infuriated because I come on here for advice...

Just started losing weight seriously, down 15 pounds since april. Currently eating at a 750 calorie deficit, weight loss is 2.5 lbs a week. Currently lifting 3 days a week, cardio the 3 other days.
Will I get better results lifting 6 days a week and doing cardio every once in a while? Or is cardio 6 days a week better? I like running.
