I meant with weights..... Since I ran out of weights for the 1 inch diameter for my ez curl bar ,i thought I'd use the Olympic one. Any cons ?

Hurts my elbows
Downside is it looks unmanly unless you are doing 1pl8 or more.
put 2.5s on each side and curl it 50 times in under 2 mins every day

They sell EZ's for 2" plates as well. They have them at my gym.

i do it. wrists only hurt a tiny bit if you don't hold close enough to the middle. only real drawback about using a barbell is that it makes you feel like you're not lifting much at all.
