I've been training since January of 2013, doing the routines that /fit/ recommends. I started with SS and then moved on to madcow's when I stopped making gains. Then when those gains stopped I moved on to a PPL split. I was always consistent, ate, and had good form. Guess what. All these routines are fucking shit. I'm strong sure, but I look like fucking shit.

I was delusional for the greater part of these three years, thinking my physique would just suddenly improve. Now I know better. To the guys starting out, you WILL NEVER look aesthetic on strength routines. Go on some brosplit and start pinning if thats what you want.

As for me Im done with fucking lifting, I feel fucking duped and I wasted my time. Fuck this gay earth and fuck you /fit/

I just ordered my home gym I am really excited.

pros
>you spend 30 minutes driving back and forth typically
>another 5-15 preparing protein, pwo, water bottle and getting gym bag together
>already an hour of just getting ready and transportation
>usually the whole ordeal is 3 hours for me including shower/food
along with

>proper equipment
gyms by me never have bumpers or decent barbells

>more serious training sessions, as no one will bother you
