Hi, /fit/. What're some unforeseen consequences of lifting you've experienced?
Post your lifting side effects, preferably things other the obvious massive gains, getting laid 24/7, neglecting humanity, etc. I'll start.

Also a few questions
The sticky suggested a 500 calorie deficit from your TDEE, does that suggest it's unsafe to do 1,000 in order to lose 2lbs a week?
Also in that vein is there anything that is up to question in the sticky? I know it says the information is proven but I need to hear it from you anon.
It's not unsafe, you'll just feel more hungry and tired and may need to pay some attention to your micronutrients.
There's even a case study on a guy that ate nothing for a year and lost 125 kg (but he was under medical observation and was given supplements though)

It's not unsafe but it is very difficult and you will lose significantly more muscle.
If you're obese you should do it but if you just want to get leaner, stick to 500.
Okay /fit/ so I am 5'4" and 132lbs woman even though I've lost a lot of weight by eating less, eating healthier, exercising for up to 2 hours a day everyday etc. I still have somewhat of a pot belly even though my measurements are 37B27W38H. Would factors such as a larger rib cage play into factor that I would have a pot belly?
Please help this is really fucking depressing to me.

Thats all i've been doing since i got fit,handsome and stop being a nerd. I went on a business trip two weeks ago. On the jet I met a really cool biologist We talked for the entire ride. Then during the actual work week, I never heard from her. Is a rowing machine good for building muscle? It looks like it hits most of the major muscles in your body. Why do people mainly use it for cardio?

Doesn't offer enough weight. Get a barbell and do bent over rows or pendlay rows if you want to build muscle.
the one at my gym has a knob. All the way loose makes it effortless, and all the way cranked still isn't heavy enough to consider each stroke like a Repetition. YOu gotta do dozens of reps to get tired. Not 5x5. Or 3 sets of 12. Lol.
Row machine is god tier warm up. Gets all your joints nice and lubricated. Why not just use a seated row cable machine so you can add some real resistance?
