I weigh 240lbs, do i really need 240g of protein or can i do something like this without losing muscle?

How do you contain yourself /fit/?

We've all been there.
You're doing your shit, minding your own business, when a pair of newbies comes in. Obviously their first day ever being in a gym, and through instinct they do some seated hammer curls.
All is well, but then you see the go up 5 dumbells. And they don't use their bicep at all.
Then they start to bench: Elbows only to 90 degrees, weight way too high for them, reps of 15, of balance, super fast.
Then they DL: With their back curved as fuck.
Then they chin up, chin never going up and never really coming back down.

My point is, how do you hold yourself back from going over and telling them what they're doing is wrong?

try captains of crush. their weight ratings are legit, their line of products goes up to an insane degree (#4 is 365 lbs), and they feel awesome.

you get jacked forearms by doing things like wrist curls (and reverse curls), but grips are good for crushing grip and static holds (so they can help with heavy lifts like dead lifts). they'll help your forearms, but you can't rely on just them

also, don't overtrain your grip. some people buy those and use them 24/7, but you're supposed to treat it like a regular exercise (so hit them maybe 3x a week). i use mine on my rest days only so my hands (and forearms) are getting hit every day with about 24 hours in between.

I eat meat, but my family doesn't.

That means I can only eat it at restaurants.

I currently get plenty of protein from peanut butter, whey, eggs, milk and cheese.

Should I try to eat a bit of chicken every day?

Hey /fit/ bros i've been working out consistently for the past 3 months and i've lost 40 pounds.

I'm currently 5ft 9' and I weigh 178 pounds.

Why do i still look fat? How much do i need to lose before i look good without a shirt on? Any idea what my body fat% is currently? Any advice is appreciated.

Is there anyone here that doesn't lift?

I mean this is my routine:
-Morning : 5km run with around 400 pushups - ab work ,rope climbing and about 70 pullups of various grips mixed in
-Afternoon: Swimming or kickboxing

I only lift on saturdays where i'll pick bench-deadlift-squat and some additional excersises that always include weighted pullups-dips

On sundays i rest

How shit is my routine?

I just don't get why you would lift everyday if you don't wanna become a bodybuilder, aesthetics wise you get a much better body with this, and you are leaner/stronger/ more agile than 99% of gym monkeys

How do you break a plateu on weighted pull-ups/chin-ups /fit/? I've being stucked at 4 or 5x38lbs at 170lbs for a while now, Sometimes I can do 5 but sometimes I only manage 4 and increasing it seems pointless as my form would break, should I try to kip a little with higher weight? deload? grip change?

Also as an interesting point, have weighted pull-ups increased your endurance? I can't do more than 8 strict pull-ups in a row yet I have seen people do 10 or 12 but unable to do it my added weight, can somebody confirm this?

i'm kinda stuck at 32.5kg so I think i'll be going back to ramping up to one 5 rep set

try to reduce the weight and aim for a 4x6-8 rep range also if youre bulking and your weight increases to fast you will make strength gains but you wont notice them since ur becoming a fat fuck
