I've had weight issues all my life. I've tried different diets and exercises but never got the willpower to maintain them more than two months.
Now, I'm 32 and my weight is about 250 pounds and on top of getting worried about my health (when I was younger it didn't seem a like a big issue to me), I just got a new gf and realized I have more boobs than her.

You will NOT find a better deal than this. I was browsing around randomly to see if anyone was selling some used heavy bags for like 50 bucks... I promise you this is the best deal you can find. Even if you dont do combat sports, this is great to work out with for the price.

I come to you desperate, so far I haven't given much thought to diet, I just ate surplus everything, carbs, protein and also vegetables. I didn't now how much I needed but I was pretty confident that I had more than enough, but I feel taunted I look like a fatass yet I can feel a solid six-pack under that fat. How do I into dieting? How I find how many calories I need? I'm 6'0 - 6'1. Like 100-115 kilos I'm not sure I don't have to weight myself right now. I'm I usually train near my max few reps 5-8 and 6-8 sets. What the hell? I just tried these myprotein brand protein cookies, chocolate mint. It was chewy, moist, really pretty damn delicious. But the nutrition facts label is baffling. Apparently it's 320 calories, 10g fat, 20g carbs, and.. 37.5g protein?? How is this possible? Most protein bars I've tried have less protein than anything else, usually like 11-15g fat, 27g carb, 20g protein, and most of those all taste tough and nasty. Getting 37.5g usable protein out of whey powder takes me several scoops that take up more space than this cookie they've somehow managed...

I love the channel.
It's what I used to bring me to my peak performance levels, it's what allowed me to reach my full potential that I didn't even know was stored inside of me.

I'm starting day 1 on my 5x5 StrongLifts routine tomorrow. /fit/izens who is doing or did 5x5, what results did you see? Did you like the program or do you recommend a different program?
Great starter program. Follow the program as suggested, don't try to improvise shit. Get the official stronglifts app for your phone, and the unlock pack for it. $10 is worth it if you're not a total poorfag. Add in the assistance exercises that you can manage now.
You're going to see your workouts as a joke for the first bit if you are starting with the bar (45 lbs). You will consider trying to do more sets/reps. Don't. Do. This. Do 5x5, enjoy it while it's a cake walk, and focus on technique and breathing.

It's a great beginners program. It'll tell you to start with the bar on everything which I don't think is necessary though (starting from the bar means it will literally take you a minimum of two months to hit lmao1pl8 on the bench which is just excessive). Instead you should probably just estimate a weight that you can easily do 5x5 on for each exercise.
