How much calories are "lost" when you cook food in the oven(roasting with on extras).
For example
>10% fat pork mince
>160 calories 19g protein per 100g RAW
>pork leg joint
> 210 calories 19g protein 100g RAW
When I roast this shit in the oven there is a significant amount of oil/fat flowing and I make sure to just get the meat separate and dispose of the fat.
How much % calories from fat were lost this way? I can easily scoop out like 4 or 5 table spoons of oil from a 1 kilogram joint. Even just roasting some chicken leg quarters give a decent amount of drippings I avoid, so there's defo less calories than advertised.

I've been running 6k's this week all up hill and my times are at 31-32 minutes. It's a pretty steep incline so I'm kind of happy with it, my relatively flat land 5k's are about 24-25 minutes. I've only been running 3 weeks btw.
I'm thinking of adding a 10k this Sunday, and some HIIT. So my routine which I've picked from the faster road racing book will go something like this...
Monday - Rest
Tuesday - 6k (uphill route)
Wednesday - Rest

Hey /fit/ is it a good idea to base my diet on fruits and meat mostly? Not a Paleofag or anything they're just the foods I like the most and they're easy to cook. Fresh tropical fruit is really cheap here in Brazil.
I'd get the protein from the meat and the fibers/vitamins/carbs from the fruits, it sounds like a good way to cut too.
