After spending last year getting my training perfected, I've decided to perfect my diet, starting with the hardest part, a cut. I'm doing IF, 1800 calories a day, 20C/50P/30F. I still have 46g carbs left, 71g protein left to hit my target, and about 500 calories. What can I use? Preferably high protein and as low carb as possible
You could stuff yourself w chicken breasts, or cod or similar things. Also tuna or salmon if you want some fat too.

Ok, so everyone made a big deal about this guy when he first showed up because his is almost 7ft and over 400 pounds and has abs and stuff. Thor's even taller than Brian Shaw, and younger etc.. etc...

Is it possible that being a 7ft giant really ISN'T that good for strength?
He's been roiding and growth hormoning for almost 6 years now and still cannot OHP 450+ or DL 1000 +, while other younger guys like Radz and Lalas have already surpassed him.

I really don't know a lot about strongman. I had assumed it was because he was still young, but according to you there are younger guys who are currently doing better. Anything to do with him taking off a lot of time and acting? I would imagine that would seriously affect your strongman training, since most of the top guys treat it like a full time job. Or does the benefit of size really not carry over that much past 6.5ft tall? I dunno, in.

Hey fit, I have a barbell, plates with 40 kg total weight (can buy more plates), pull up bar and dip bars. I only have no rack, but I easily can make something like picrelated.
Does it make sense to do something like squats 5x5, dips 3xf, chin ups 3xf three times a week? Or is it much more better to go to real gym with tons of dumbbells, machines etc.?

throw in some rows, deadlifts, and if you can afford a bench, you could manage some bench work assuming the rack you have would be safe to have that type of set up.

It's my plan to just get a squat stand w/ dip attachment, a nice bar, and some plates. Already have some bands I can choke around the uprights for face pulls and stuff.

Got my squat over 500 with daily squatting. Weighted dips are the best pressing exercise if you can handle them.

I plan on cycling 10-15 miles for two weeks with ankle weights to strengthen my quads .What ankle weights would you guys suggest or is it just a waste of time?
Waste of time. The ankle weights actually make it easier to cycle, as they help push the pedals.

Is having a high calorie cheat day when cutting beneficial to your metabolism or is it bro science?
I've been cutting at 1800 calories a day since March 1st and have been successful at keeping on track, but every saturday I've jumped off the wagon and ate a bunch of shit about 3000 calories or more.
So far I've lost 8 lbs so I know my cut is working, but are those high calorie days doing more harm than good?

yeah, a SENSIBLE cheat meal/day every 1-2 weeks is good when doing a hard cut.
personally i like to cut hard af at a 750-1k calorie deficit and have a cheat meal on friday which ends up around maintenance or a little over. keeps me psychologically sound and doesn't derail my progress
It's beneficial to increase calories every 5-6 days to regulate leptin signaling after weight starts plateauing on a hard cut.

Hey /fit/, my gf wants to do bikini fitness contest this summer, any tips on what I can do to help her out besides meal prepping and general mood support during her cutting phase? Like most people she gets a little cranky during cutting.

Yeah. Make her change her mind. It's awesome that she's into training and eating well, but I personally know no less than 3 girls who've competed in bikini and have had massive health issues after having had dieted down to low bodyfat percentages. Two of them are steril at the moment.
Fit chicks are great, but steroid abusing instagram whores are not a very good physique ideal. It comes at a pretty steep price.
