what does /fit/ think of based Callum?
too big desu - he's the type of guy who looks like his life revolves around lifting
I want to be the aesthetic guy who looks aesthetic, but you still question whether he actually lifts. Does that make any sense?
>>37253571
>he wants there to be a doubt of whether or not he lifts
you can't make this shit up
>>37253571
So... you literally want to be DYEL?
Do women mind/like being looked at at the gym?
don't know but I do notice that a girl hasn't showed up anymore since I started looking at her.
It feels good having such an impact on someone's life
The guy in OP's pic inspires me so much pity
They like when Chad looks. They don't mind when Brad looks. They want to kill themselves when Vlad looks.
Hey /fit/, just wanted to chime in. Don't overtrain yourself. I was admitted to the hospital with rhabdomyolysis because basically my muscles started to release fibers into my blood stream. My cpk was about 10,000 iu/l. All because I wanted bigger calves. Stay safe out there fellas
not everyone is bitchmade m8
>being a calflet
Lel kill yourself

Eat good and fresh food.

I've been cutting and I'm eating healthy, it's not it.
I've always been sweaty but now I have a serious job and in early June there's gonna be a big event with many gatherings, meetings and parties over the course of a week.
I will have to wear a suit the whole time, too. And meet a lot of powerful people making me extremely nervous.
I feel it's going to be a trainwreck if I don't get my sweating under control.
who here /sensible/
my goals are
>2xBW deadlift
>1.5xBW squat
>1xBW bench
>0.8xBW press
i don't see the point of going much higher than that t.b.h.

That will change once you hit those numbers.

But you can hit those goals in a year easily for 1RM. Then you have to make new goals.
Hi, new lifter. Are handgrips and reverse-curls just a meme? I bought the Golds Gym Adjustable grips last month and I'm doing 10x10s of the full 90LB resistance, and 10x10 reverse curls at 15LBs. [I know I'm shit so far but I guess you gotta start somewhere] Is this okay for forearm growth? I'm 5'9 and between 130-140LBS.
Also, if anyone has any military knowledge, Im joining soon and Ive been told theres a handgrip test. How should I prepare for this? Should I worry? [I'm Canadian if that helps] Sorry if this has been worded wrong or obnoxiously, trying my best to make everything sound right.
holy shit somebody please answer
Every site I look at says that though gripping exercises are helpful, I cant find many credible sources that say that exclusively, just handgrips give any solid gains. Any advice please?

I had that exact same one and it only went up to like 70lbs and eventually broke within like a couple of weeks.
I've been lurking for a few months and I just realized everything is a meme here. Where can I find adequate fit advice online?

scientifically impossible
It feels great. It feels like you have a purpose and gives you motivation to do things in life. It also gives you confidence, because who you are and what you do attracts people.
Wouldn't have it any other way.
>be a manlet, bulking
>look at myself in mirror from a distance
>look good, looks like i lift
>take a selfie without shirt on
>look like a short, stocky chubby guy that doesn't even lift
anyone else know these feels? what do i do to look good?
inb4 grow grow grow
When will they learn?
I'm 5'7 and have a 40 inch waist right now. Here's a pic. From the side I look fine, but from the front I look like a block.
My waist only goes down to 34 inches when I am lean (<10% veins on abs lean)

Got a source on that picture?
How fucked is my body /fit/?

>believed in HAES for a bit

Fuck your family.
Continue your diet and exercise and maintain your steady progress. Forget loose skin and yes you can get a decent body after being obese.
>>37252652
How big were you at your biggest and how big are you now?
How long have you been dieting and exercising?
Depending on the first question you might have loose skin issues but surgery is always an option.
Also post pics of before and after, some people are better off than others despite the transition.
>>37252652
is that from huge quest??
How can I stick to a caloric deficit without needing to "man-up" and "use willpower" or "kill yourself"
Routine. You get so used to the same things or you plan them out before and minimize your alternatives so you have no choice.
That and just a little bit of discipline to prevent the "well, I've been good, I'll go get those McNuggies JUST ONCE"

That's the only way
If you could talk to your 16yo self, what would you say?
Last thread turned into a feels thread so keep this along the lines of workout, diet etc
don't worry about grades and school and shit so much.
Be more like Zyzz, don't give a fuck and lift.

Hi /fit/, what's the nicest compliment you've ever gotten?
I've been told I look noble (6'5" masterrace)
>>37252488
>tfw can't remember the last time I got a compliment
I got told by the receptionist (that I later fucked) that I had an aura.
Best. Compliment. Ever.
I was told I was too kind hearted
It wasn't a compliment but still
Whats /fits/ opinion on swimming for weightloss? Long story short, im 6'7 and I weigh 220. Im a fat fuck with back issues and apparently swimming is pretty low impact. Thoughts? Pls be nice im genuinely uninformed of these things.
Swimming is the best for everything as long as your skin and eyes aren't sensitive to the water you are swimming in.
It's not as effective as running if you want to burn calories, but you can't really hurt yourself while swimming. It's not too hard on the joints so if you got the stamina you can swim a lot.
Swimming is all about proper form tho so you probably need someone to help you with that.
>>37252315
Swimming is good. The water pressure is good compression for your body. You are long too so you have a lot of potential for swimming.
