Alright, so i've been lifting for 3 years, 6'1'' sitting at 205 lbs around 13% bf. Tired of weightlifting, don't feel athletic at all.

So, anyone ever made the transition from weightlifting to competitive swimming? Any advice would be appreciated

I went the other direction, swam in high school and after some other sports later on I decided to do weightlifting instead

now I'm just really fucking heavy, I can't float very well at all and if I exhale I sink like a stone. You may find this is your experience too

also bodybuilding != weightlifting, which is actually athletic

no, not in my experience. Just eat a shitload of carbs, enough protein to recover, and fat generally kept within reasonable limits

eat more if you find yourself not gaining stamina, eat less if you find yourself getting fatter than you like

also unless you've been swimming for a while you're gonna be crap and nowhere near competitive

I never have time to make shit like this before heading to work. I guess I could wake up earlier, but 6AM is early enough in my opinion. It would also require me to head to bed even earlier to aquire enough sleep for maximum gains.

The problem with being fat is there are no real Punishments for being fat. So here is what I propose. Ban fat people from:

1. Voting or running for office.
2. Marrying.
3. Using public transport or driving.
4. Leaving the house between 10pm and 6am without a permit.
5.Having children.
6. Being paid over 6.66 GBP an hour.

On top of that, tax 90% of their income.

Then, and only then will we see obesity fall,

Easiest foods to make in bulk, specifically for cutting.

I nominate chili in the crock pot. Easy to adjust ingredients for goals/taste, stupid simple to make, and I never get tired of it.

Ingredients
1 lb. hot Italian Sausage, cut into ½ inch pieces
1 lb. sweet Italian Sausage, cut into ½ inch pieces
¼ C olive oil
1 C chopped onion
3 Tbsp minced garlic
1 lb. ground beef chuck
2 green peppers, coarsely chopped
2 red peppers, coarsely chopped
2-6 jalapeno peppers, cored, seeded and cut into small pieces (I used 2)
4-14.5 cans of diced tomatoes, with juice
1 C beef broth
1 C fresh parsley, chopped
3 Tbsp. tomato paste
3 Tbsp chili powder (or more for added heat)
1½ Tbsp ground cumin
2 Tbsp dried oregano
1 Tbsp dried basil
1 tsp salt
½ tsp fennel seeds
1 tsp ground black pepper
6 roma tomatoes, diced
cheese and sour cream for garnish
Instructions
Cook sausage until browned and cooked through. May want to add a bit of water to the pan to help them cook.
Remove from pan and drain on paper towel.
Heat oil in pan and add in onions and garlic and cook until soft (about 5 minutes)
Add in ground chuck and cook until meat is browned.
Add meat and sausage into crock pot.
Add in peppers, tomatoes, beef broth, tomato paste, parsley and seasonings. Stir.
Cook in crock pot on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Add in fresh, chopped tomatoes an hour before serving.
Garnish with sour cream and grated cheese

does anyone else here NOT want to have big legs?

I just hate the way they look, they take away from that aesthetically pleasing V shape. this is why I don't do squats, just the leg press once a week, because I don't want my legs to get big I just want them to be athletic. I think upper-body focused physiques look the best, so long as the legs aren't completely DYEL tier like never trained ever

IMO it's virtually impossible unless you're a morning person. I've tried loads of times and in the end I just prefer the extra time in bed. More chance of me working out at 2am before bed than at 7-8am. I wish I could though.

I've started running for the first time in my life, but I'm not sure whether or not it should be a 100% daily thing (at least when I start; I know it's nbd once I really get in shape). Should I have like, recovery days for when my legs want to murder me?

How do you deal with the appetite suppression/worse digestion effects of dip?

I only pack like 3 a week, usually on the weekends, but I can feel the difference in how much I want to eat. I'm still making noob gains and just recently started eating >3000 cals/day, and it feelsgoodman but only when I eat enough. Now cope mint is out and may God have mercy on my gums.

Also dip general.
