How much do calories-burned per activity calculators overestimate by?

Plugged in my gender, height, weight
Chose 60 minutes of running 8 miles per hour
It estimates 942 calories burned. It seems absurdly over to me since it's only 60 minutes and not exactly intense. Should I just chop off 200 cals and say I burned ~750?

but keep in mind it's not a pace that easy to maintain over an hour, it means you are already in decent shape / trained

like, obviously intense stuff requires tons of cals / min but you can't keep it up for long
other stuff like "walking" you can do it for hours, but it won't burn as much
so what's the best trade-off in-between ? I think that running is pretty good, you can can for 2 hours and probably burn around 1300 cals or so

how dangerous is it to lose weight as quickly as possible?
i weigh about 250 lbs and recently found out i have severe sleep apnea.
i read that losing weight (20lbs+) can really really help the symptoms but if i lose weight slowly at 2 lbs per week its going to take me atleast 10 weeks to do this.
is it bad if (for health reasons) i try to rapidly lose weight as fast as i can?
There's no evidence that losing weight "too fast" is dangerous or counterproductive in the long term.
On the other hand, there is a mountain of evidence that being overweight is extremely dangerous.

I read a wiki article a day and a book every month or so.
I have this constant feeling that i'm doing something wrong with my training,
I have been followed starting strength, and i have been increasing my weights with about 5 kg for each new set.
While i am doing allright with the deadlift/squat,
i have issues with the bench press and especially the press.
I can't get over 15kg( minus bell) with my press at the end of two weeks, and i can't help but feel that i haven't gotten stronger but merely reached a base plateu.
I eat my proteins and follow riptoes guide, but beyond protein...
