Is overtraining just something invented by faggots to ensure other people don't get bigger than them?
Some of the biggest and leanest dudes I know run PPL. I just switched to an intense PPL and I'm doing absolutely fine.
I can see how it would be bad for a beginner, but if you've got a couple years under your belt, why not?

Because I was doing karate since 2005, and under the impression that I was learning to fight. Fuck, I still enjoy it, but I'm pissed that they practically lied to me. I guess it still counts as a combat sport though.
At uni now, so I'm thinking of doing either Kung Fu or Muay Thai. But Kung fu would be a similar deal, and the Muay Thai club just...vanished.
The other clubs are Tang Soo Do and Taekwondo, but those are so sporty they have no combat application whatsoever.

Hey /fit/, been going to the gym since the new year and as I approach 2pl8 squat I've been getting serious back pain. Turns out as I reach about 5 degrees above parallel my back starts to round, and as I get below parallel I achieve ultimate cat back mode.
How do I fix this?
Hard to tell without a video really, there are so many different cases.
But start with mobility exercises. Increase your ankle dorsiflexion, get olympic weightlifting shoes etc.

Proper tanning methods are often overlooked on /fit/. People are afraid due to the skin cancer fear mongering and by being afraid they will turn into a Mexican. Well I am here to tell you can avoid both if you tan properly. The truth is the majority of skin cancers from sun are from "normal" people who similarly do over-the-top routines and extreme diets. These people try to achieve their "tan" by spending hours upon hours in the sun in a single day. They get sun burnt over and over and end up looking like aboriginals eventually....

But if your cut is too aggressive you won't have the energy to lift enough to secure your gains, so never aim for more than 1000 deficit ABSOLUTE MAX

im not actually going to the gym so lifting heavy wont be happening it will be light weight shit(i have dumbells and ez curl bar), body weight exercises and stationary bike.
im not on a deadline im just sick of living my life in limbo i want to lose this gut asap instead of the recommended 1 or 2 lbs a week. i just dont want to starve myself and get loose skin that would be worst case scenario but ive seen enough seasons of survivor to know 30 days of low calorie activity will work pretty good. ill be no doubt...
