Are shoulders the most complex muscle group to work? You gotta do different exercises to hit the front delts, rear delts, side delts. I've only been doing barbell OHP and incline DB press, and recently just started doing facepulls. Should I do reverse flyes instead? Should I also do lat raises? What do YOU do?

First, sauce.

1. You're prob a my doing facepulls wrong. I was until yesterday. Search for Omar's video on them.
2. For lateral raises, bend slightly at the hips, and keep your elbows bent. You shouldn't be focused on lifting your hands so much as lifting your elbows, which the hands will then follow. Elbows come to shoulder level, hands stay slightly below. This method will naturally recruit your traps, which is good for your traps but will slow your shoulder development. To counteract and minimize trap recruitment,...

I'm really sorry for making this thread -
But I've been reading a lot about people claiming creatine can speed up / start up hair loss.
Does anyone have any experience with this?
I have very thick hair - don't have family history of hair loss and creatine works SUPER well for me. I shoot up 12lbs after a month on it.
But I'm so worried about this hair loss stuff.
Please comfort me fit.
its a meme u dip
u fuckin DIP
>>35142617
I know there's a lot of memes about creatine, but this one actually seems to have a lot of people backing it up.
even the hodge twins claim it caused hair loss for them
It boosts testosterone, if you have hairloss related to high test, ofc it will go quicker with creatine, if not, you're safe.
Hey there /fit/,
I'd like to start off by admitting that I don't normally browse here. I've read the sticky, so i'll make sure to stay away from anything mentioned there. Anyways, I have a dilemma, and it's pretty /fit/ related, so I was hoping you guys would give me some advice.
So my friend is a personal trainer, and he has gotten me to start working out with him. I'm currently a fat lard, standing 6'1" and weighing in at almost 270. Now my friend is helping me for absolutely free, as long as I let him use before and after pictures...

Shameless self bump, and some /b/ related nonsense.
The fuck you worrying about peoples weight for? You may lift more weights as long as you are a fucking fat ass it doesnt mean shit. Wait until you become /fit/ you can start worrying about what people do in the gym
What are some jobs that require you to be /fit/?
I'm at a point in my life where I need to soon decide what career I will be settling into. At uni I'm going into STEM, but if I exercise, why not settle for minimalism and get an active job?
So far, I can think of:
>policeman
>fireman
>>35142404
>policeman
Sure thing, bud
>>35142404
PT, military, construction maybe
fireman is dope as fuck. air force reserves right now doing their fire training and going to get a firefighter job ASAP. you get paid massive amounts of money. the downside is you have to work holidays but who gives a fuck you spend most of your time at work fucking around or sleeping
>>35142404
If you're a charismatic and athletic guy you can be a wrestler, though if you want to get anywhere in that world you need to be a minimum of 6 feet tall.
> there are people on this board who don't eat sardines
>>35142383
too much sodium and cholesterol
sardines and canned tuna are literally for broke niggers that can't afford fresh or at least frozen fish
>>35142416
cholesterol is good though, and they are like $4 a can which isnt too expensive.
they are tasty af too in my opinion
Because theyre salty as fuck.
Any /fit/ bros here that are cops? Looking into applying in my area.. they pay great, and the area is low crime (relatively)
Just curious about the PT requirements for the academy and how you like the job if you are.
>>35142318
>PT requirements
have you seen cops before? if you can get out of your vehicle in <5 minutes i think you meet the requirements.
>>35142318
yea OP, try not selling your soul for a salary
Dunno about in clapistan but in ausfailia (NSW specifically) they're a joke.

Hey guys.
Im new here, a NEET who has a month before classes start, and has pretty much lost the will for a job above shit kicking min wage.
I've decided to get a gym membership and just start focusing on my body. What things can you suggest to me that would help?
>inb4 read the sticky. Im reading the sticky, but it doesn't have EVERYTHING.
How are you a NEET if you're enrolled in eduation?
SS + GOMAD
>>35141904
SS with accessories.
>almost 2016
>not using keto for cutting/general health
Fuck your sugary drinks and cakes.
>Anything but protein and fat is sugar
This is what pre-diabetics actually believe.
>>35141883
Except for fiber that's correct you fuck tard.
Carbs are just chains of sugar, all of them, even in veggies.
>>35141880
I feel like that would be the ideal diet for me: for some reason my body always feels best after eating foods like that..even compared to other healthy foods.
Hi fiber, e/lit/ist here.
I was wondering, do any of you guys know anyone who was active in the bodybuilding community that had to get a leg amputated because of diabetes???
Like if the person wasn't treating their illness, must ignored it?
Thanks
Pic not related, all i have in my tablet atm(that is sfw)
If I wanted humor, I'd ask what your one rep maxes are.
Weight lifting improves glucose sensitivity to such an extent that it is very rare for bodybuilders to develop diabetes.
The only exceptions to this are those that are morbidly obese, extreme genetic disposition, and those that are actually injecting insulin for bodybuilding purposes.
There are normal people that drink up to a liter of soda every day, and they will still have normal resting glucose levels.
You have to go hard with a shitty diet and sedentary lifestyle to actually develop type two diabetes
>>35141878
>copying someone else's joke
Nobody even looks like they lift. What's going on?
Why didn't nobody play hacks sack?
This is why I don't take any of you retards seriously or the le 5x5 le functional compounds routines you post seriously at all.
5x5, compounds only, "bulking," it's all a load of shit and almost none of you fags know anything.
>>35141715
>meeting up with homosexual autists
It was either this or a homosexual orgy. No homo.
Should I bulk or cut guys? 5'8 160lbs
eww look at those rolls. cut
>>35141703
how about you just eat and lift fgt
>>35141703
Those ab insertions tho.
is this pic accurate?
>>35141690
yeah
No, that's a recipe for breaking your shit off.
IMO, if you can't get your back near 45 conventional, try semisumo or trap bar. If that doesn't work go full sumo.
Impressing internet strangers with lift numbers is not worth permanent back injury unless you're a total retard sheep.
>>35141736
This is for rows, not deadlifts
>not relinquishing your humanity and going on a dirty bulk
>not being an extreme hedonist and eat everything in sight while becoming ungodly levels of strong
>not cutting after food bores you and becoming a Greek god
Yeah, you go be fat, faggot.
>>35141545
that has to be roids right
>>35141574
Nope, just some water retention from taking creatine.
So, what's up with sugar? How much is too much, and is it really as evil as people make it out to be?
Basically, red-pill me on sugar
>the current year
>consuming the sugary jew
there, red pill'd
No, it's not evil. It's like any other good you can consume. Most western diets contain "too much" sugar, particularly refined sugar & corn-derived sugar. Corn syrup is cheap because government subsidizes its production. Cheap sugar means more food manufacturers put it into their products (because sugar tastes good, and people buy more shit if it tastes good).
Eat a diet consisting of mostly whole, unprocessed foods, and you'll be fine.
>>35141561
How much would be a good amount to aim for? >100 g/day? >50 g/day?
