6-8 reps for ancillary barbell lifts
8-12 reps for assistance dumbbell/cable lifts

1-3 sets for 100% rep-max
3-5 sets for 80-90% rep-max

3 days per week: full-body routines (AxBxAxx BxAxBxx or AxAxAxx)
4 days per week: Pull-push-legs + fullbody (PPLxFxx or LPPxFxx or FxPPLxx etc)
5 days per week: Pull-push-legs + upper-lower (PPLxULx or ULxPPLx etc)
Routines with no deadlifts: upper-lower splits

Work every muscle group at least 2 times per week
Push = chest/front & lateral delts/triceps
Pull = back/biceps/rear delts
Legs = legs/posterior chain
>Just because an exercise involves pulling, doesn't mean it belongs on pull day. Divide it accordingly to the correct muscle group. For example, lateral raises belong on push day.

These are just basic rules-of-thumb!

Remember that you are supposed to have fun and enjoy doing your routine, so do the stuff that you enjoy doing!

Ive been lifting for 5 years, squatting for 5 years, and browsing this shitty imageboard for longer than that and I don't give a single fuck what anyone else does in the gym. Why the fuck do you care what other people do in the gym? I'd be willing to bet you look like absolute shit and just grasp at straws (the squat meme straw) to try and make yourself feel better about the fact you look like shit. The fact you squat makes you feel like you have at least 1 thing over the other people (who prob look better than you lol) and you're so god damn insecure about it that you feel the need to spam the squat meme over and over.

Just fuck off. Squatting has literally become the new fucking autistic meme in the last 2-3 years or so. Everyone fucking squats, even the most bro of bros. I've recently come to realize my friends are trying to distance themselves from me. I have no social skills or interests that lets me meet people as is always suggested for finding new friends. I've grown tired of all other pastimes but physical exercise.
