I'm currently doing SS, but I'm having really bad progress on the bench because of a delt/bicep/elbow injury.
I can currently only bench 35kg/75lbs for reps. ;_;

Yesterday I was warming up with just the bar and it hurt so much I downed a couple painkillers and took a 20min break before I continued with my workout.

I got this injury last December, so I took a 10 month break from lifting, and it still hurts.

What are some alternatives to the bench press so I don't become a chestlet?

Maybe inclined push ups and chest flyes?

I've gone overweight recently from eating too many carbs. So I said fuck it, I'll go on a low carb diet to shed that weight as well as upping the amount of exercise I'm doing.

But now people are telling me that a low carb diet cuts from muscle more than than from fat. Okay fine, firstly I know all this protein I'm eating should help muscle growth and also I think I'll just research this online and see what's said. Well I'm getting a lot of conflicting info on that end.

So I'm coming to you /fit/; the goal is simply this: I want to drop about 10 to 15lbs and generally keep it off. Should I forge ahead with a low carb diet + increased exercise or should I be going around what I'm eating differently?

just drop your calories and fucking stick to the diet. if you like carbs, fine, eat carbs, if not, don't. makes no difference as long as amount of calories is adequate

I'm considering running Starting Strength for my bench press and overhead press.

Will pic related work?
I would like more volume for bench and press however I am afraid of stalling.

Would I stall doing pic related?

I might not be understanding you right, but would that be all you'd be doing? In that case, I'd give you 2 months and then you'll have an inflamed pec tendon, RC issues and elbow tendonitis

In any case you'd need both some kind of periodization (light-med-heavy days) and more variation in the lifts. Doing the same heavy (high intensity) compound lift (such as bench) more than twice a weeks is really not recommended

No this ain't all that I'm doing, this is just my plan for benchch and overhead progression.
I have a different plan for squat and deadlift progression.

I do not feel as if I need periodisation as my bench and overhead press are at a novice level.
I was wondering if I were to run Starting strength for my bench and overhead press would those accessories as seen in pic related stall or hurt progress in any way?

I had a problem once before with not enough volume in SS and I want to be sure I've got enough and will not stall or not have too much and stall.
