do you do pullovers a lot? depending on your age could help that out
>>34984409
Looks great when you have a developed chest. Will probably take a lot longer build your chest.
I want to cut down my bodyfat until 2016. What should I be eating /fit/?
Eat the sticky
>>34984352
How the fuck am I supposed to eat 200+ grams of protein a day? That seems ungodly.
>>34984375
Be a faggot then. 200 is actually easy to get to. Whey, cottage cheese, tuna, eggs, milk and chicken breast.
How much can a lack of mobility fuck you up?
I'm used to squatting 450-500+ high bar, easy. For the past few weeks I've had this horrible tightness in the front of my hip, I think it's the anterior hip flexor. I can't squat shit. Went from hitting 405+ on a bad day while sick, to 275 feeling ungodly heavy.
If you're high bar squatting and not able to go a2g then eventually you'll reach a point where you'll be all kinds of fucked up if you keep upping the weight.
Also compromising form in the slightest to lift the weight. Should stop at technical failure if you don't have the mobility

How much can a lack of mobility fuck you up?
I'm used to deadlifting 900-950+ double overhand, easy. For the past few weeks I've had this horrible tightness in my back, I think it's the spinal erector. I can't deadlift shit. Went from hitting 905+ on a bad day while sick, to 315 feeling ungodly heavy.
>>34984276
It's just crazy to me that I went from hitting monster weights to hip tightness that ruins everything. Even my deadlift is keked
Name some.

Jack Donavan, author of the book "the Way of Men." He's a homo but he's the one in a million homo who is totally normal-seeming and doesn't talk about being a fag. I only know he's gay because some gay liberal who is against his ideas was tweeting at him saying he wanted to get smashed by Donavan but realized he could not because of the conflicting ideas.

No, empty carbs with barely any nutritional value
but it won't kill you
What was that?
You want to be in the UFC?
Haha sorry kid don't you know weightlifting makes you a walking meatman? Stick to your weights you can never win a fight.
Bodybuilders make bad fighters is a meme

>I don't know who Ken shamrock is
He was the first guy in ufc that kinda proved that being jacked as shit in a fight
He won against a first few tomato cans
But when the competition got weeded down around ufc 20, he got exposed and destroyed quick
>>34984126
Yeah, UFC fighters don't lift at all, speed is obviously much more important than strength.
Weight training is pretty vital for pretty much any type of athlete where strength is a factor, and it's ridiculous to think otherwise.
Nice bait though.
If I inject myself with my own semen will I get swole?

I think it's just the pose
if not though I recovered from a pretty bad shoulder injury a month or so ago, I used to look like I had scoliosis before
Yea I know my arms are small, home gym master race so I just bought an ez curl bar for biceps and triceps. For back I do bb rows (pendley) and weighted pull ups half rom because of my low ceiling
What do you do for forearms, /fit/?
I recently added 3x10 sets of hammer curls and 3 sets of wrist roller (roll it up backward with narrow grip, roll it down, roll it up forward with close grip, roll it down) to the end of my pull days.
Questions: Is there any different between rolling backward and rolling forward? With a narrow or a close grip? My gym has a wrist roller attached to some kind of ladder, which is about chest high. Would it be preferable to use a wrist roller that isn't attached to anything so you have to lift it up yourself? Also it's...

On my last rep of my last set of deadlifts I just hold the bar as long as I can. Same idea with pull ups and chins.
>>34984037
I've been doing that to improve grip strength as well, but I just wanna make the fuckers grow
>>34984051
Doing overhand barbell compounds has not only made my grip completely based (500lb deadlift double overhand), my forearms are 14.5" now and vascular as fuck. A responsible recommendation that I don't currently do is work your extensors to help avoid tendonitis
Farmer's walks are unnecessary unless you're training strongman, grippers are completely unnecessary, and the wrist bending shit you're doing now is not only unnecessary but also potentially harmful
Lots of back pain after upping my stiff leg deadlift weight last week, had to skip them today.
I'm using proper form, is this normal? Can I just not do SLD's until my back feels fine again and go back at it?
You core is weak and you probably round your back. Or the weight you're using is too much for your hamstrings and you encounter aforementioned problem.
>>34984085
>Or the weight you're using is too much for your hamstrings
Is it possible that the weight I'm using is too much for me even if I don't struggle to lift it?
>>34984101
The fact that your back hurts is a sign that you're struggling to lift it properly. Once you're hamstrings fail, your lower back takes most of the work load. Lower the weight and really focus on getting the stretch on your hamstrings.
>started lifting two years ago
>could do full sets of dips and chin-ups
>stopped lifting for a year
>just went back
>can still lift what I used to lift
>but can't do more than one dip or chin-ups/pull-ups
What are some good ways to get good at them again? I tried doing assisted dips and hanging at the bar everytime I could. Grip is giving in easily.
>>34983873
Do negatives for pullups and chins. Not sure for dips.I found assisted dips helped alot but assisted pull ups and chins didn't.
>>34983947
Oh if its your grip then I'm not sure.Did you gain weight?
