ebikes are technology. Does anyone here have one?
I'm considering selling my motorcycle to build a nice one. I have an Electra Townie 7D frame I could build on, or I might buy a traditional front suspension 26" mountain bike off Craigslist instead, maybe an old Cannondale or something. I have a road bike as well but don't think 700c tires and no suspension would be the ideal choice for constantly riding at 25-30 MPH.
Kind of torn between a Magic Pie hub motor or the BaFang BBS02 mid drive. both appear to have distinct advantages and disadvantages.
The bike pictured is an AWD build using two Magic Pie hub motors. The frame box contains all the electonics and the 20ah battery array. The owner says it has a range of 30+ miles on a single charge if you go easy on it, but it can also put down ~5000 watts on full load so it should be absurdly fast for an ebike.
I believe his frame is some sort of older Electra. I'd like to build basically the same design but with RWD only (room to expand to AWD later if desired). A 1500W 48V Magic Pie V4 kit is...

How do I change the default screenshot format to PNG? (I'm using Windows but it shouldn't matter).

Jailbroken > standard?
My boss wants a server for the office, to handle emails, etc.
I've installed MS SBS 2003 per his request but it's just so bad... Can't even get it connected to network because drivers missing, even after using smartstart CD w/ drivers.
Best linux distro to use instead?
I hear fedora is good for servers.
Would like to have all capabilities of shitty MS SBS 2003.
pic related, the server(s)
For server go Debian, CentOS, or Ubuntu Server, I'd recommend ESXi, if the HW is supported, then you can use Windows easier since VMTools take care of the Win drivers and the Linux stuff too.
ANTI RFID WALLETS ARE TECHNOLOGY
I'm looking for a card holder that will block rfid (and waves/radiation in general). Is there something like the moto G of card holders? Effective, affordable?
Hey /g/, I was wondering if there was any reason for being extra careful with that nowadays, assuming moderately recent hw and putting aside stupid fs issues (Fsck fatass32!)
pic related, mine is the biggest
Honestly who gives a shit? People who refuse to pull a USB stick out without a warning are the same people who refuse to touch the back of a CD/DVD, think a computer is destroyed if you don't use an ESD wrist strap when touching the components, or that you destroy the PSU if you disconnect a fan while the computer is running.
How is this possible?
I thought Surface Pros and the Surface Book used Wacom digitizers?
This is horseshit. Apple has to be cheating or the reviewer is a paid for shill Ned throwing off the Surface testing.
This guy is testing the Surface 4 and he wasn't impressed with the surface 3. You can see the Surface 4 performs better than the video you linked. Might be some heavy bias.
I accidentaly deleted my external HDD is there any easy way to recover the files?
I am running Arch Linux and I want the best way to recover them.
WHY ARE THERE SO MANY LANGUAGES!? JESUS CHRIST. THIS IS THE ONLY BARRIER DETERRING ME FROM LEARNING HOW TO CODE ANYTHING.
WTF? WHAT DO I DO!?
what IRC channels do you frequent?
I frequent a couple: one local, one MMA related. Both have some light conversation but tons of complete silence. I want a few chans I can drop in on and bullshit at any time of day.
Some active chans for Odin Project/self-learning would be great too
